to all honorable pakistani members
what is the correlation between tejas and teg bahadur.?

. .
While the Indians are jumping with joys that their Tejas has been invited, they may not known that the Chief of Royal Malaysian Airforce went to China in November last year to personally invite the Chinese companies to participate in LIMA 2019.

LANGKAWI: A total of 31 nations have confirmed their participation in the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2019 (Lima ’19) to be held from March 26 to 30.

Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu said the ministry expects the number of participating nations to increase.

He said 12 nations will be taking up country pavilions. They are Australia, Belarus, China, France, Germany, Japan, Russia, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States.

“Turkey, which is known for its defence industry, has the biggest pavilion, measuring 730 sq metres, followed by Russia with 697 sq metres,” he said at a ceremony to recognise Lima ’19 sponsors here today.

Mohamad said Lima ’19 was targeting 60% defence and 40% commercial content.

“A total of 354 defence and commercial companies have confirmed their participation, including 173 international companies,” he said.

He said the Equanimity superyacht will not be on display.

Also present at today’s event were International Trade and Industry Minister Darell Leiking, Deputy Transport Minister Kamaruddin Jaafar and Air Force chief General Affendi Buang.

Finally Tejas project picking some speed . Congrats. Hoping for good show.
Best of luck!

Thanks friend. Now Tejas does more than 8.5 g and over 26* AOA. It is 0.5 and 2 units higher than we saw in Bahrain. A decent performance can be expected provide the fly it to its limits. All the hard work put these days is now paying off. By the time LCA mk1a comes in, it would probably be touching 9 g. Weight shall be reduced by extra 500 kg and there shall be an additional 6 pc aerodynamic improvement and increase in Transonic acceleration by 20 pc. Highest speed will impfove by 2 pc. 60 kg extra fuel shall be added. AESA and EW will be installed so as gun. It will match Gripen C/D in performance.

It is certified for just 100 knot low speed. After that computer will take control and stabilize aircraft. It has auto pilot and many other softwares to protect Tejas which shall be upgraded. Landing gear position shall be adjusted and will be made light in weight.

JF-17 at LIMA 19, Maybe

Marhalim Abas January 14, 2019 Airshow

SHAH ALAM: JF-17 at LIMA 19. Sino Pakistani JF-17 may make it’s debut in Malaysia this March, if everything goes to plan that is.

No one has confirmed the participation of the JF-17 but the likely debut of the Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL) Tejas LCA at the biennial Langkawi air show this March, will definitely put pressure on Pakistan to send it’s own fighter jet to Malaysia.

I was told that the Lima organisers had already asked the Pakistan government, defense ministry and the manufacturer, Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) to get at least one JF-17 – even on static display – at LIMA 19. I was told the response have been lukewarm so far so the news that HAL is sending the Tejas to Langkawi may change the equation.

Again, it must be noted that both India and Pakistan have not yet confirmed officially that they are bringing their aircraft to Langkawi. Both countries have been invited to bring their military planes and ships to Langkawi for LIMA and it is likely both are willing to that. Bringing the Tejas and JF-17 are the icing in the cake as people like to say.

But the FOC is already obtained? How the aerodynamic performance improved now.

. . . . .
JF17s are busy at the moment, dont think we can afford to lose 2 off the line, to go to an airshow under the existing conditions. The Malaysians should come to understand this.

This is pointless. All Jokes about the LCA aside they have a MK2 in the pipeline. Who would get the MK1 even if they wanted to?
the same reason why Pak still keeps F16 block 52 when more advanced variants have been out for quite some time now
