What's new

LCA Ridiculed 20 years ago.

And the joke is on you as LCA frame design was base on Mirage 2000. A cutting edge plane back in the 80s.

And all airplanes be it combat or civilian have been derived from the first plane flown by the Wright Brothers in 1903.!!
So your point..?
You have a beautiful avatar wish you had a brain like that.!!

Troll Hunter.!! ;-)

On topic...
I am very eager and excited about the upcoming SBTF test of the N-LCA.!!
Plus Rafael mentioned that the integration of the Derby A2A missile with the LCA was completed successfully.!!
They didn't specify which LCA it is - The Airforce one or the N-LCA.!!

. .
I agree with you, a tailless compound delta wing design makes it highly unstable thus increasing the agility of the aircraft and that is also a reason fly by wire is integrated.

Yes it is...

'Thunder' is what Pakistanis named it. Before that, while it was being designed and developed and built in Chengdu, they used to call it 'Xiaolong' - ie, "fierce dragon". But it wasn't fierce enough for the dragon's air force, so they sold it off to a lesser air force that had lesser ambitions and lower expectations. Those poor sods not only believe that it is the greatest thing since baked bread, but also that they designed it themselves.

As a consequence of that mistaken belief, they often come to troll on any thread related to India's efforts to build a fighter indigenously. Ending up belittiling something they can never accomplish.

Pakistan have not created LCA. They don't have 30 years to design a plane that is obsolete on arrival.
