Lawmakers Want 'Made in China' U.S. Olympic Uniforms Burned

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said when asked by ABC News today, "If they have to wear nothing but a symbol that says USA on it, painted by hand, that is what they should wear."

Read again, the lawmakers weren't "china bashing" but bashing the U.S. capitalists who decided to produce stuff in China rather than the U.S.

That said, I note that products like swimwear that aren't made in the U.S. but are NOT made in China were not singled out.

These uniforms could have sewn up in the US for less than $50.(List price is $2,000) There was no reason to have them produced in China.
