Thanks dude, I did a little web searching in the previous hours, there is a free center in Tehran for learning this, Viapassana thing, it needs to spend a 10 days long camping in the center for learning this thing, I think I need to learn more about the subject before going further. If really working then I think it might be quite a deal.

It works and Vipassana centers are free run by charity . If you feel like donating at the end of 10 days fine , if you dont then also its fine but i am not sure if there are any centers in Iran . Almost all big western countries have a few .

Thanks, it's about 2 years that I am going to aerobic classes, unfortunately it is turning to be not as interesting and funny as it was in the beginning, hence I am considering different subjects.
There is a something like Yoga classes but with different name I can't remember right now, that I went some days ago, frankly it didn't seem interesting at least in the first glance, I can say if there is anything quite opposite to aerobic, it is Yoga for sure.
But people around are really praising the stuff so I am considering for taking classes.

Yoga ham bad nist, albatteh, beyn e mardom, overrated hast. be nazar e man, bastegi daareh ke shoma che hadafi daari va inkeh sharaayet e physici va sennet chi hast. ba'd misheh raahat tar beyn e inha, yeki ra entekhaab kard. ;)

Is there any fart yoga !?

Yes, While taking a morning walk, try to follow a group of men (50-65 years). Just walk a few meters behind them and watch them. After a few steps one of them will stop and let out a fart (smaller or bigger) and then he will move on. After sometime another one will stop and the process goes on. It increases after taking a cup of tea......:D

It is very real. Not just laughter but there are hundreds of body postures. They are to increase blood flow, increase flexibility and agility of the body and connect the mind with the body as one.

There is an exercise for example that I do called sheershasana (head exercise). You basically fold your elbow joints across your head area and stand upside down for as long as you can.

This is actually pretty tough for beginners but once learnt it clears your mind so well. You remain positive all day and happy.

All that is only a part of Yoga; called Hatha-Yoga. Or the physical aspect. Another connected practice is simply related to the practice of correct breathing and breath-control called Pranayama. All of this then connects to a practice of mind-control which we commonly know as Meditation.
Interestingly, none of these practices are connected to religion; though some religious practitioners understood the benefits and absorbed/assimilated Yoga into their thinking.

Vipassana seems to work. I know a number of people who do it and seem to have clearly benefitted from it. Though I have personally not yet felt motivated to do so.
I have been a practitioner of other (maybe simpler) forms of meditation. My favorite was a form of meditation which took up just 20 mts of my time at lunch-time during a working day. That was enough to fall into a wakeful sleep (which I'm told is called Yogic-Nidra or Yogic Sleep) which made me fully refreshed, even more than the morning waking up.

Ironically, I tried that only because I wanted to show that the idea was bunkum...........apart from that, I liked that the fact that it had no religious overtones.
