Latest: PM Shahbaz Sharif about to arrive in Karachi.

.
Give us Basic services in the city like water supply , Sewage , garbage and fix the fcked roads

You will never have that. If they wanted to, this could have been done 30 years ago. They laugh behind your back because you keep voting them back in.

Did they even have a city master plan?

Good to see him visiting Karachi.

MQM appearing very serious regarding that agreements signed with PPP and joint opposition.

They are even saying that we are more interested in implementation of that agreement rather than taking ministries.

Non implementation of 40% Job Quota in Sindh province for Karachi residents and other infrastructure/governance issues etc are very serious problems which affect Karachi and her residents.

MQM has made a huge political gamble. If she fails to get her populace things out of those agreements, PTI will certainly wipe out MQM next year in general elections. Huge number of Urdu Speaking folks are supporting PTI on social media and on streets.

Though many Karachiites are also saying how many times IK visited Karachi when he was in power - he was just focusing on KP and Punjab....So he suddenly remembers Karachi when he is out of power now. This thinking exists as well.

MQM looks nervous and wants implementation of those agreements ASAP.....She needs something to show to Karachi otherwise PTI is breathing down her neck.

Indeed, my sister in Karachi, who along with rest of the family members support PTI, was complaining a couple of days ago about how few times Imran Khan visited Karachi. To Imran's defense, he was fighting multiple wars and his time was best spent in Islamabad. And mind you, I don't support Imran Khan anymore.
For the people of Karachi, they should consolidate around some national level party--or at least a party which would form the govt in Islamabad and Punjab. PTI was the hope but PMLN too can play the role.
For now, the issues in Karachi are issues of governance and management. Just like Pervez Elahi and Shahbaz Sharif proved capable administrators in Punjab, so did Mustafa Kamal and Naimutallah Khan in Karachi. I hope they set politics aside and deal with Karachi as management problem. In this regard, Sindh govt is likely to concede some things to MQM in the current situation.
PS. The next critical development are the byelections. If PTI has indeed resigned, then its folly would give enough space to the Opposition to stay in power by winning more seats and survive for 15+ months. That's to watch and that also has a bearing on what is going to happen in Karachi.

People of Karachi has rejected mqm long time ago. Mqm wants power by any means. They want Karachi to become graveyard again.
Hahaha who told you that people of Karachi reject MQM just make a fair Election without any hanky panky urdu speaking never leave MQM But right now the current sityation is that ppp & there corrupted zardari group hijackted this City & useing Sindh card & shiaisam card for takeover this City sadly all institution of PAKISTAN watching all this distruction like silent povelion...

LMAO MQM and PPP turned Karachi into a f*cking call of duty map with their kneecap drillings and shootings. Noonies and PeePees were calling each other corrupt every 5 seconds. Now they're giving each other rimjobs - united by (stolen) money, divided by honour! I will vote PTI next election just so these PDM hypocrites can't get a seat.

I think that Karachi is better off if PTI wins all the seats in the city.

From the day it was born, the biggest blunder that MQM made was to play the ethnicity card. That alienated it from the vast majority of the people of the country. No one was willing to listen to even genuine grievances of the city.

The hatred that MQM generated against Karachi is what led to the destruction of the city. Today, Karachi probably has a majority of non-muhajirs anyways. There’s no chance of Karachi progressing without all citizens being united.

It was a huge relief when PTI won a lot of seats in the last elections. It’s led to Karachi’s image in the rest of the country to improve.

I agree that PTI didn’t do much for Karachi. But at least there’s a hope that if they’re able to change the constitution and get rid of the 18th Amendment they may have more power to help the city.

PPP will never let anyone to break 18th amendment.

Establishment can do that only but doesn't look like she will do.

MQM did do blunders but so did others....MQM just tried to manoeuvre most of time apart from Musharraf era.

he is here to give governor ship to mqm thats it

I think its not decided yet.

This filth can only give MQM what an institution in Pindi wants nothing more nothing less.
