Not only her daughter but he did following big mistakes.

1. Mujeeb had majority seat but he conspired with military and didnt let mujeeb become the PM which eventually resulted in breakup of Pakistan.

2. In the new Pakistan he tried to brought socialisim which not only resulted in flight of capital from Pakistan bit also destroyed the industrial base. Before bhutto we had companies which were even manufacturing parts of aircrafts for west now we are no more than assembly units of car kits.

3. He destroyed the beaurecratic structure of Pakistan and took all the power of them and transferred them to ministers. This was the biggest flaw as ministers come for a fixed period of 5 years and without any technical knowledge. As a result most of the seasoned beaurecrates left Pakistan leaving the beaurecracy as a profession for bribery eaters only.
