Large Group Of Armed Militia Members Take Over Federal Building

2010 Small business...no bank would give him the money I guess.

Goodness gracious, federal loans are that gracious? And here i am bending backwards for NationStar to consolidate my mortgage loan, hahaha!

Back to the thread tho; they have the right to express their views. However, the moment they shoot at or fire on federal and state security officers --- then they violated the line. Then they should be labelled as 'terrorists'.

Most likely , imho, these guys will step down. The media is just just using this issue to lambast the 'conservative' base since in context to US presidential election --- its the liberal news media's way of 'attacking' Trump, the republican lead.

.
Its in the land of pure Angels and Democracy . There are no Extremists or Terrorists just some armed militia who are protesting peacefully by taking over a federal building :P
and threatening to shoot law enforcement if they try to enter, and arrest them. So peaceful.

LOL! What do you need to consolidate! You run up your HELOC or something?
BTW I'll be crossing from 6 figures to 5 figures very soon on my mortgage (after sinking 7 figures into my house). yay!

Interest rates, my fwend, interest rates ! I want to pay off the remaining buck fifty off in less than 10 years.

And congratulations on the mortgage crossing ! Hopefully after the kids get done with college, you can increase your contributions on the principal.

after sinking 7 figures into my house)

Impressive, sir. Seriously? That much? :o::o:

Well luckily interest rates are low for you.
I highly recommend a 10 or 15 year. If the interest rates were back over 4.5% I'd say people are nuts to do a 30.

Well you have a newer home...if you had the choice of a 70yr old home at half the price you paid would you do it?

Depends on the location and the craftsmanship. There's actually a place that's 40 minutes away from my town in central new jersey ( moorestown, nj) that has classic victorian style homes , and some are old as 100 years. If it wasn't so far from my work and if the prices weren't as steep, id have considered it.

Or the colonial style, there's a lot of these colonial styled homes in Moorestown. But way over my budget at the time.

I have always liked brick. A good friend of mine who has a brick house that looks very similar to your pics recommended not doing it. He says renovating or doing anything involving touching the brick is the biggest hassle imaginable.

. . . . .
This what they do to White people.

There does seem to be an aversion to calling domestic terrorism incidents "terrorism" though, even they meet the qualifications. Blame the media for this phenomenon.

Still, many incidents, perpetrated by white individuals, have been correctly described as terrorism.

All meeting the qualification of terrorism, all described as such.

But in this incident, the militia in Oregon, it isn't yet terrorism. There's a political aim, but so far the local population isn't being terrorized, which is a criteria that needs to be met to be terrorism. In Oregon, with a long-noted and long-running anti-government militia problem, the local populations even sympathize with the militia, as opposed to being terrorized.

The Federal Government might see things differently, but this incident doesn't yet meet the qualification for terrorism as the local population isn't being terrorized for political reasons.

A**holes, but not yet terrorists, not unless something more drastic, such as bombings or a shootout occurs:

As noted, much of the Oregon region hosting this militia sympathizes with them, but they aren't supporting them either:

Residents of the Oregon town thrust into the spotlight after self-styled militiamen took over a U.S. wildlife refuge voiced sympathy for the jailed ranchers whose plight inspired the action but were critical of the armed protesters.

Saturday's takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge outside the town of Burns, Oregon, marked the latest protest over federal management of public land in the West, long seen by conservatives in the region as an intrusion on individual rights.

Ranchers Dwight Hammond Jr. and his son, Steven, who on Monday surrendered to serve longer prison terms for setting fires that spread to federal land, had been regulars at a town diner where residents were sympathetic and said they feared the federal government wanted to seize ranch lands for its own use.

"The BLM wants that land bad and they'll probably end up getting it," said Tim Slate, a butcher who said he had gone out to slaughter the Hammonds' cattle many times over the years, using an acronym for the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. "The federal government wants to take over the state of Oregon and turn it into a park."

Cute:smitten:. What's the cost? And brick:o:. How cold does it get in Moorestown? Even with central heating and insulation, brick is energy inefficient, but long lasting. I also like the colonial look that's common in Virginia and much of the North East:

I come to the US a lot, mostly around D.C. and Northern Virginia, so I'm contemplating investing in a more permanent property in the region.

Relating to the colonial homes. I'm thinking at least a million dollars. At least.
