Lapsed tenders hurt Modi's 'Make in India' defence industry push

Based exactly on what assumption have you decided to make that baseless remark. On the information provided in the article, India imports its tear gas shells whereas Pakistan actually exports them.

India trails in almost everything, except boasting. Pakistan has slowly and steadily risen over the past couple of decades despite being beset by a host of political and demographic challenges.

That's cute.

. . . .
Does that mean Modi is a clueless PM? Works for me.

You dun confused y'self m8y.

The only person who's clueless here is yourself :) Just because we DON'T manufacture tear gas shells, doesn't mean we can't. There is no market for it here given that only a few places in the country are in enough unrest to warrant it.

Unlike your country, where tear gas is required by police even in metropolitan cities.

Ruling out the possibility of exports? This is exactly why the PM had Ambani come over. I'm off for lunch m8. Enjoy the sun down under. Don't fret over it too much.

Well it seems like you guys have been manufacturing them for some time. How many USD worth of them have you exported? And why is your country still in an economic sinkhole if you're so good at it?

It's no surprise a nation of only 10% of India's population has carved itself a comfortable little corner in its neighborhood.
Your whole country's tear gas can be bought from BEML's single product

India's in the same economic sinkhole as Pakistan. Both have a pathetic GDP per capita and rank among the poorest countries in the world.
