Our judicial system including the laws needs an overhaul. Modern sources of evidence i.e. DNA, untempered video and audio and other forensic parameters should be made legally admissible and acceptable. An FHD high quality video can preserve better info than the brain of a person. Also humans have bias that influences their observation and also limitations. We are living modern world where almost everyone is carrying an excellent camera built in their smart phones. Cameras in high end smartphones are being used by professionals. Also security cameras with HD and FHD qualities with excellent night vision capabilities (infra-red) are available in the market.
