Precisely. All of those thousands of supporters should be executed as well. Let's have martial law for 50 days and clean up all of Pakistan with multiple of thousands of executions of these rabid mullah followers. We all can do our part and clean couple dozens ourselves as well.
With all due respect - how does it impact India should be the question. You do understand what you are saying right?
This will put entire Pakistan in a tailspin of anarchy, massacres and endless killings. There is a reason why PA is not taking over and removing the civilian government and it is not foreign pressure. Our differences apart, your general has his hands full with other internal issues and it is therefore unlikely that he will take such crude steps which will result in a pandora's box of bloodbaths with no end across Pakistan. He knows something which you and people here don't which is why he is not taking this step despite being supreme commander of military in technicality.
The point is not these idiots; the point is what their supporters will do.
Where would you draw an end to this?
It is not like these loonies are ready sitting there to be executed; considering the amount of firearms you guys own and they might have, this will mean a civil war. PA and Rangers will need full deployment not just in Islamabad but also other cities.
Schools and colleges will ahve to be shut down. People will have to sit at home or at the most not move about on the streets. Do you know how disastrous that would be for your economy?
There are better ways to kill this problem, and it is to remove their support base through more and more awareness from the government and engagement with the disenchanted. Once youth get to realise that these idiots are just spreading chaos in your country, they will move away; THAT is when you go for the kill.
do you really believe that lal Masjid Mulla and others like him are surviving without connections in right place.! They are the deep assets of Pakistani security establishment. You do understand what you are saying right?

It should not matter to us how or if they deal with people in their country. If they kill them all, or if they garland them is none of our business. Except if it has repercussions for us. It may be possible that a full blown civil war in Pakistan may be good or bad for us. We should stop caring for THEM and just understand what it MEANS for us.

I am simply trying to say that endless violence without drawing a line means destruction for their country. As an Indian I don't care; but as a human and a Buddhist, I at least express concern so that innocents don't get harmed.
Then I'd say that ISI doesn't know what it is doing. Deep state as what? The entire incident caused harm only within Pakistan.
How does that help their country?
Hi,
As a Pakistani, I must say we don't give a flying bull turd about your opinion, or your observations. Keep it moving bharti.
I just want to say that, that is one of the sanest analyses I've seen on the issue. To fight something that plagues a large portion of the society one needs changes in mindsets, not executions. We don't want martyrs, we want to discredit the ideology. You do understand what you are saying right?

Why should a masjid be demolished?Lal masjid should be crushed once & for all along with its fake mullahs.
Let's be honest; The fact that molvi of lal masjid are being allowed time to plan is deplorable.
We don't need arrests, we don't need to see legal procedures and judges wetting pants.
Clean executions; clean the mess once and for all along with all supporters.
Easier said then done.Don't worry, we know there are millions of them. I was being diplomatic when I said let's execute a few thousand, as executing a few million would sound a bit harsh...... no matter.......... even one less religious bigot is a win win........ let the bloodshed begin!
Exactly. You do understand what you are saying right?

Exactly.
Liberals (mistakenly) assume that only they have a say in the matters of state; this is utterly wrong.
Pakistan is a multi-ethnic society and it cannot afford to isolate any (major) segment in the matters of state.
There are two kind of extremists in the country at present; liberal extremists and religious extremists. Both are in the wrong, period.
And if liberals think that they can get away with thousands of executions, let them try it. Such a development will lead to civil war and destruction of the country at large. Just look at the situation of Iraq and Syria.
A single segment of the society cannot just stalinize its way through the country to fulfill its agenda. Solution is to culturally groom the nation and this responsibility lay on the shoulders of the government.
