@VCheng due process was followed by speaker, election commission, courts when 20 PTI MPAs became lotas in Punjab assembly, but horse trading didn't stop. In fact purchasing rate of lotas increased many fold this time after PTI's sweeping win in by elections. So even by following Pakistani law and constitution to the letter, it had zero impact on this immoral and corrupt practice of lotaism. Any solutions as per your due process?

Why weren't you NOT this concerned when PML had won 8 more seats in Punjab than PTI before Women and Minority Quota was added to both parties taking the tally to 164 for PML and 159 for PTI and yet the independent candidates chose PTI instead of the stronger PML? Who was moving the independent candidates in his private jets and who was coercing various independent candidates both at the center and in Punjab to ally themselves with PTI?

Anyway, lotas should be banned for life. However, there should also be a provision to ensure that any Party Chief does not become a dictator; as per the current provisions in the constitution. There should always be a political way to remove the PM, President etc.

Seeing such trading, the bitter truth is that dogs are more faithful in Pakistan than corrupt politicians and is very evident in present circumstances.
Now people should accept why this country's economy is melting like wax? The heat of corruption is becoming more intense and there is no institute that could react to control the meltdown because they themselves have become spineless and marred with corruption.

The onus will lie on PTI leadership to convince the Pakistani electorate that is sympathetic to PDM that 20 MPAs and 20 MNAs did not switch side because they simply lost confidence on the leadership and direction of PTI leader. The party that makes an accusation is responsible for the burden of proof. What constitutes as acceptable evidence should be decided by the judiciary in Pakistan in accordance to your laws. As PDM maintains that there was no horse trading, there is nothing to prove from their side. You cannot after all prove a negative
