Yes it could be if the plane crashed. But thank God it didn't. We should make example out of him for others.

Beta, at 0.35+ you go into a coma. His BAC was 0.08 something. You know what else can get your BAC to 0.08? Not getting any sleep for 21 hours. So it isn't necessary he was drunk as the report also said he was fatigued.

Here is a bit of a stinker.

Dubai Airport allows scheduled airlines 4 hours free. After which they start charging. Shaheen up until recently, had a record of never leaving on time. They always had some sort of technical issue. I wouldn't be surprised IF Shaheen is dumping all the blame on the pilot, to hide their poor maintenance record.

and whether you go into coma or not with BAC of 0.83 depends upon your tolerance although i agree he would not have been able to stand, that s why i was surprised with that value

Why use the Anti-Terrorism act against a pilot who may have been drunk ur taken drugs ? Next they will charge drivers who break traffic laws with anti-terrorism act ! This incident is getting stranger.
