Agreed. The people claiming it needs to be more dense. Have you been to the downtown or gulshan or Nazimabad side and seen how dense it is there? Have you seen the overcrowding and the traffic jams. Saying Karachi has a population of 15m is a complete joke!

Come to teal world and face the hard fact that Karachi has 16 million population. Stop selling this churan of 20 and 30 million.

True, just go to Saddar and other downtown Karachi areas, there is a sea of humans. Places like Liaquatabad, Bahadurabad, Karimabad, Jauhar, Waterpump, everywhere you can see heavy conjestion. Hardly I've seen places so pack in Lahore, Peshawar or anywhere else.

Bhai it's gonna be long debate, and I'm traveling around these days and don't have time. Karachi problems more related to economic which creating other giant problems and Punjab ( Takht e Lahore ) have some links with it. When I have time I hopefully open a thread in Senior Section and gladly tag you on it.

Lahore is no match for Karachi. I am from neither, but Karachi is massive and beside that a lot of other things to consider as well. The population of Karachi is well over 20 million. Census is just crap.

From now on Govt should contract cesus to you, just make you visit all cities, towns and village and take you guess on the population size.

karachi population is more then 20 million excluding areas from karachi calling them rurals does not change the reality
karachi is about twice the size of lahore and by saying its have comparatively same population is like a joke
so how you gonna explain running out of parking spaces on roads when a new mall or etc opens jamming about 10-12 areas?
if karachi real population was to shown it would be like biggest loss for ppp who make govt only by taking vote from illiterate people in sindh
and also remeber ppp demands just before census

I hope if any of you want proof please visit Karachi, ill be your guide if you want so the difference b/w 1.6 million and almost 2.75 million will get into your heads and how much this city is running the whole country.They call it mini-Pakistan but dont want to give its fair share or spend a single penny on it.

Have some sense and then open your mouth. Karachi population is massive and every reliable source has said it. Btw what government we are talking about the one that rigged the elections or the one that forged documents and submit it to Supreme Court.
