Ladakh MP says Chinese army creating permanent structures in Indian territory, urges Modi to act - IBNLive
New Delhi: With just two days to go for Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to India, the BJP MP from Ladakh, Thupstan Chewang has said that the Chinese army is threatening people living along the Indo-China border, and is encroaching into the Indian territory, "building permanent structures" on the Indian side of the Line of Actual Control.
Chewang said that he hopes Prime Minister Narendra Modi raises the issue with the Chinese President, when he arrives in New Delhi for talks on Wednesday.
However, the External Affairs Ministry has that India's border with China "is in safe hands".
