They are and they have their own fighters who were being funded by Kuwait private donors.

According to the US and reports from monitoring extremist groups on Twitter had shown photos of cash and identifying increasing numbers of Kuwait being involved in extremist groups. It's because Kuwait had given the green light for their citizens to take the role of backing the extremist group known to be ISIL and other factions after Qatar changed their policy. They are more preferable arming extremist group because due to numbers of Salafis and sympathizers in the Kuwait parliament, the government wanted to ensure it doesn't alarm the citizens or strain their reputation and might as well to mock the Shiites in Kuwait.

Not to mention, the government had sponsored an organization where states in the Gulf sends their money directly to Kuwait to flow their cash to Syria because of their own state's restrictions on Syria's policy. In particular, Saudi Arabia who tried pressuring to stop all aid and should be directly to the SMC alligned group. Although, they had failed to do that.

So, this article is nothing but nonsense trying to hide the fact that Gulf states is the one bolstering extremism.

No doubt private donors from the gulf are funding the terrorism,governments could do it through private donors to avoid being linked to terrorism. There are many rich Kuwaiti private ( non gov ) "sheikhs" that want Iraq to stay weak & many anti Shia/Iran or whatever their ideology is, they will fund these organizations in Syria.

Anyone who denies this should shut the **** up, don’t even respond if someone disagrees, no BS, Osama is 1 example, many others who don’t directly take part in "jihad" though just throw around money.

They are doing this to ensure Iran doesn't continue along with their influence in the Middle East so they either want to turn Iraq into a weak and a failed state or increase conflict to strengthen the Suuni insurgents otherwise if Iraq turned into a stable state then Iran would use Iraq for their own interest whether they would meddle through politicial affairs or military in other Arab countries. Syria is the best example, using their airspace and pushing Iraq Shiite militias to support Bashar.

Syria has signed a military alliance with Iran, Iraq has not. Total different situation, not part of the "axis of evil/resistance" which is : Iran, Syria, South lebanon.

@Doritos11

Just talked with a moderator here. That user who tried to pass off as a Kuwaiti (Kazaima A or what he was called) and whom I and @BLACKEAGLE believed was a troll turned out to be one. He is apparently the same individual who was behind the two troll users that had the former emir of Qatar as their avatar. Those two that raged havoc on this section earlier today and under 1 hour ago.

He is likely to be an anti-Arab and anti-Muslim troll. And my guess is that he will be back or at least try to get back and troll. Will try to keep an eye on him and other trolls though not to destroy this forum and section or our debates here. After all it is in our interest to have a well-functioning and interesting forum.

So what I said in that old debate still stands apart from being common knowledge for most Arabs that know about their own region.

Just wanted to tell you that in case you thought you had a local Kuwaitis "expert opinion".
