What's new

Kurulus Osman fans

Wow, I've met 2 womens in PDF today. Who could've imagined that? Personally I love the fact that there are women among us as well. I wonder, how did you found out about this forum?

theres plenty of women here actually, I created a thread asking if there were any and was pleasantly surprised by the number. I’m not on social media (for my own sanity) so I located this forum and found it was quite international in terms of active members so thought it would be interesting to join. I hardly get time these days to visit the forum but when I see someone talking about Diriliş I have to comment lol.

@ÇölKaplanı Is it a movie or tv show? Whats the subject?

In a very short basic summary- It's a tv show about the everyday adventures of a single mom of 2.

No lie, I'm a bit dissatisfied that you didn't come here for Defence-related interests but I'll take that answer as well. But actually it makes sense, it's actually a really smart move. Congrats  We need more women in here.

@ÇölKaplanı haha Sorry for disappointing you. I don’t have much knowledge about defense but I do have interest in matters concerning general population.
Actually it seems like maybe you can recommend me some turkish tv shows as well  Anyway, do not forget to update me with your thoughts about those movies and tv shows.

Oh yes sure. Watch Miracle in Cell 7 its available on netflix. Its about a mentally challenged father (aged7/8) who goes to jail after being accused of a little girls murder (He doesn’t kill her, she falls off a cliff and we know it from the start).

Rightnow I am watching Bızım Hikayez. Its a family drama, it plays on a Pakistani channel urdu1 with urdu dubbing. Its quite entertaining and nice to watch something light everyday. It gas Hazal Kaya and Burak Deniz both of whom I love.

Theres another good movie with Cagatay, Delible. Its about a young couple but very enjoyable.

I have seen plenty more to learn turkish but they were mostly love stories, that one can do without lol.

Holy moly, it looks like you've seen more turkish movies and tv shows that I've ever did for all of my life :woot: Do I have to call you master or anything else in this case? :smart: Watching Miracle in Cell 7? Sure will do, sir!
Oh, and there's another great series called Öğretmen/The Teacher, be sure to watch that too.

Hi,

Why do I need to ask a local imam---there is no priesthood in islam---. Maybe in the Shia Islam---but not in Ahl A Hadees islam---.

Did you even read the link I provided you with??

Why should we not have dua and prayers in urdu punjabi sindhi---. Is there an edict that says otherwise---.

You asked why prayers shouldn't be in their local language...I gave you a link which answers why not.

Now you're accusing me of being Shia. Which I am not.

Finally, Yasir Qazi (Qadhi) is a CIA asset. I love his historical lectures on seerah and the sahabah, but whenever he talks about politics or modern events, I tune him out.

I didn't know the speaker of the below vid was Yasir Qazi/Qadhi?

Also, how did you find out or what made you think he was a CIA agent?? I don't have anything against him but I have noticed unusual stuff coming from him..

Yes, your spellings were better than @Moonlight but she spelled them with an Eastern-Central Anatolian accent.

I actually spelled it like we do in Urdu.

It's actually very funny and cute at the same time to see foreigners try to write the Turkish words with their own spellings  You guys made my day in these diffucult times, thanks :enjoy:

stay safe and enjoy.

I'm sure he is a decent enough fellow in his personal life, but he is compromised. He used to be a radical Salafi, then he changed his ways and becsme a moderate Sunni. Recently he was sponsored a trip by a Zionist group which he accepted to the Holy Land. Since, he has been pushing for more understanding of the Holocaust and advising Muslims to go to Israel to understand them.

Ofcourse this is just one topic, the other is criticizing Muslims for not believing the official story of 2001 attacks, telling us that we need to own Daesh as our own (they are Khawarij actually,) and lastly his big push on the Uyghur issue.

I know you and I don't agree on this topic of Uyghurs as to the best way forward for Uyghur interests, but even you have to accept that Washington is pushing the narrative heavily to use against China.

CAIR, ISNA, MAS, MSAs, and other Ikhwan/Muslim Brotherhood groups were the first ones to push this narrative in the West, sidelining Palestine, Kashmir, Rohingya issue in the process.

I believe that only Turks, CARs, and Pakistanis understand the dynamics of the Uyghurs, as we are related to them by blood and culture.

I am always surprised with Arabs who don't give a pebble for Palestine and Kashmir to suddenly be up in arms for the Uyghur cause. Actually they are just listening to the dictates of their masters in the West.
