The looting done by the taliban and by looting I mean the stealing of police and military armoury and hospital and medical supplies and ofcourse the stealing of banks will aid the taliban a lot. The afghan govt and army must focus on its weaknesses and strategy rather than blaming Pakistan as kunduz is located far north bordering near Tajikistan which is far from Pakistan and even Taliban controlled areas. The real question is why are the reinforcement taking so long and why is the counter attack being repulsed by the taliban. The fact that the attempts at retaking have been unsuccessful and the taliban have still control in the city showcases the glaring weakness of ANA...
As for the resignation of ghani. Considering how weak the afghan govt us a regime change atvsuch a crucial moment when the govt is weak, the NATO and America are leaving, the people are losing trust, the taliban are rising and Isis is trying to find a foothold, thus at such a crucial time a change of power would be detrimental. A move by the power hungry vultures in a weak govt.
