Kulbhushan network: Pakistan demands access to 15 Indian citizens

ISLAMABAD (Daily Dunya) – Pakistan has demanded access to 15 Indian citizens in result of the interrogation with neighbouring country’s spy Kulbhushan Yadav.

The citizens are linked with the network involved in spreading terror and conducting subversive activities in Pakistan through India, Afghanistan and Iran.

A prominent personality who is a part of diplomacy between Pakistan and India confirmed it to Daily Dunya that a list regarding the matter has been handed over to Indian High Commission in Islamabad and has been prepared after assistance from an ally.

Pakistan’s Foreign Secretary in a letter to Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambanwala has demanded that either an access is granted to the men or they are given in the custody of Pakistan.

The diplomatic source has revealed that if no positive response came back from India, then the list will be sent to United Nations and permanent members of Security Council.

The wanted men include agents and facilitators of RAW and Indian Intelligence Bureau.

Pakistan is also planning to share the information gained by Yadav with the leadership of Iran and Afghanistan as some of the matters are related to both these countries.

Yadav had an Iranian visa on his passport and was working as a businessman at Iran’s Chabahar port being built by India.

He was the head of the spy network operating in Pakistan which aimed to spread terror, cause economic instability especially damaging the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Why would an Indian naval officer be slinking around Pakistan, crossing from a country with two Indian consulates that have been well known to sponsor anti-state militants? Ridiculous. The former ambassador prefaced that comment with an anti-CPEC remark: “Be aware the Chinese will not bring you paradise on earth”, which already shows where his mind and intentions are.

Furthermore, there is no Taliban in Iran, and if there was some kind of secret Iranian Taliban, why would they have close relations with Pakistan, and why would Iran have not spoken about this ever? It seems the ambassador was too blinded by money from the Indian lobby, and was saying things that couldnt be backed up by any evidence, logic, or plain common sense.

I hope you people are aware of concept of natural justice which allows an "accused" legal access and to be heard before a court of law. If you take his custodial statement and telecast it with a hundred cut paste and not allow the man any consular access, who will believe you?
You have not only failed to capitalize him it has rather boomeranged on you and causing more harm to your reputation. I personally feel that you have only two choices i.e. to give him consular access and allow India to help him with legal formalities or let him meet the fate of Sarabjit Singh.
