The Saudi regime will face a strong revolution should it continue to ignore the demands of the people in oil-rich Eastern Province, an analyst tells Press TV.

“If the Saudi government does not recognize the rights of those people, or this part of Saudi Arabia, I think that sooner or later they will face a… very strong revolution led by all Saudis in this part of Saudi Arabia,” Redwan Rizk said in an interview with Press TV on Wednesday.

He predicted that the Saudis will launch an “armed” revolution against the ruling Al Saud regime, saying Riyadh will then be in “serious trouble.”

He said the Saudi people in Eastern Province have long been “crushed under the brutality of this [Saudi] regime.”

On Wednesday, thousands took to the streets in the Qatif governorate of Eastern Province to mourn the death of two anti-government activists killed by Saudi forces.

“They (the Saudi rulers) must understand that they cannot crush or mistreat their own citizens and Saudis like those two people or many other people who are suffering [from]… regime... brutality,” said Rizk.

The anti-regime activists were killed on February 19 when government forces supported by armed vehicles stormed the town. According to government sources, two police officers were also killed during the clashes on the same day.

Eastern Province has been the scene of clashes between anti-government protesters and Saudi forces for some three years. Several people have died in the crackdown on the protests.

Eastern province does not belong to shia, they are living in small town of eastern province, which happens to be next to the refinery.
The very same refinery employee, almost every one from that small village.
Any trouble in Saudi will nokt benefit this town.
On the other hand oil is being explored from center of KSA not from eastern province, but yes the head office of oil company is in eastern province, this was for various reasons but non of it was the small Shiet community.
These are some facts, against the usual lie.
Trust me if there was any oil in eastern province, than Americans would have liberated it.

. . .
Piss TV propaganda.

LOL at this "news".

Breaking News:

Iran might face another Mullah revolution version II.

Awamia which is the only trouble-making city will be bulldozed if necessary although we are only talking about a few troublemakers anyway.

.

Ok, he is talking about difficult geography, mountainous territory and giant geographical distances. OK. Correct. But I am afraid to tell him that the Eastern Province do not have any mountains like almost every other Saudi Arabian province and region. Massive fail.

Nor are any people in the Eastern Province, which is btw. a Sunni majority area today, rioting. Only that shithole called Awamia with about 30.000 people.

2 armed terrorists killing 2 policemen and then getting killed in return is just terrorism. Everywhere in the world the police would have reacted in the same way. Go try and kill policemen in Europe, US let alone the non-Western world and see what happens with you or if the police will return fire or not!

Only the Republic of Iran can set them free.

Not relevant to topic at hand.

That dude is talking about geography playing a big role in a supposed uprising since it would be difficult to control!

Yet he does not realize that this small city, Awamia, is located next to the Gulf in a area dominated by a mangrove and some farms. No mountains in sight.

Of course. If 2 terrorists kill 2 policemen they are asking for trouble.

Even in Denmark the police would have killed you if they were in a larger group and you with some friend suddenly started to open fire against them. Then they would be forced to shot to kill.

His nonsense about the geography starts at 3.50 into the video! Of course I am going to comment on that since it is complete bullshit.

His English is terrible too. No idea who that clown is!

Still the same irrelevant factor.
Calm down.

I have been to Awamiah and it is nothing but a criminal den...the only way to liberate it is to flush it off all criminals.

How about the fish dishes? I hear that they are good. Or is that just Qatif in general? Not travelled much in the Eastern Province outside of Khobar.

Long time no see. Hope that you are doing good.
