Keeping to the topic and the ICG blog and since it is said that I brought up the issue.
Hence, this clarification, lest it be taken that there was anything beyond.
Indeed I did bring attention to the issue when I discovered that the ICG blog being displayed as some very considered opinion of an internationally reputed expert was no other than the usual contributor to the Hate India campaign, most of which are mere appending of anti India news report and the few comments made (if ever made) are irrelevant and merely obtuse unsubstantiated personal views of no value.
There is nothing wrong appending anti India news report. If something is wrong, it is correct to bring it to the notice of all. To that extent, there is no quibble. But to merely append such reports, without leading the discussion with some comments, smacks of a sly attempt to regurgitate negativity spurred by a personal vendetta. That is what is odious!
Obviously, it was essential to draw the attention that the link was of no value and should be taken for what it is worth.
The slant of the article loses its value since one knows how bitter is the psyche of the author towards India. What are reasons one does not know. More so, when the person was not even there during the momentous years when the Liberation took place, having left Bangladesh lock, stock and barrel.
It is obvious given the fact that the person was not there when Bangladesh was settling in as a nation, that there is vested interest or even an agenda that prompts this bitter anti India tirade promoted by the author wherever he wishes to ingress. Or else, one would not make it a matter of personal vendetta as is being observed all the time.
Hence, the appending of the ICG so called report, which is no report at all, but personal diatribe, is not consequential to the thread as it is no authority that brings credence to the issue. In fact, it is a blog and not a report as is being visioned in a fanciful, vainglorious manner.
It is a blog of no value or credence. Mere speculations.
Speculation could also be done in the drawing room and then it would be termed as gossip!
Indians don't report on diatribes venomed in inconsequential posts.
One should disabuse oneself of such vain streaks of self assigned grandiosity!
