If this baba ji is mistaking Abhinandan for a Sikh pilot, how could he have possibly been found at two different locations 59Km apart? Baba ji tells the location in the video is Kotla (Bagh district) while Abhinandan was found in Kotli, Kotli district.

Dear Mods, I thought this one deserved a separate thread because I don't see a thread discussing this two locations thing.

Hi,

Thank you,

I came to a similar conclusion---but I am not familar with the names of that area and his accent is different---.

How can Abhi be taken as a Sikh---.

How did this baba ji arrive at the conclusion that the pilot was a Sikh? Was he wearing some turban/handkerchief under his helmet? Facial hair?

I think Abhi can be taken as a Sikh, I just feel like he looks like a "Singh" type person :)
Only real way to find out is if we can ask someone to go talk to the baba ji again and this time be more precise.

BTW I personally think this is an accent thing. Its too funny cuz its like Balakot and Balakote, and now Kotli and Kotla.

Someone needs to rename as the cities ;)

Sikh do not have that name by the way after you deal with few sikh people you will realize easily difference between Sikh people / culture and Indian

I think other two pilots ejected at supersonic speed and ejecting from supersonic speed usually result in breakdown of neck bones and helmet of pilot as well as other bones and muscles of body due to severe g forces and burst of air and there is high chance they would be dead as survival chance is very little due to ejection from supersonic speed moving jet .Abhinandan was moving at subsonic speed so he survived ejection .This is one assumption

And Kotla (Bagh district) can be taken for Kotli (Kotli district)! :hitwall:

Did he say "Bagh district", its very hard for me to understand at least. I heard "Kotla" and some other stuff that is hard to understand.

We're talking about in the moment. Can he be taken for as a "Singh", forget the name. Its in the moment situation. I feel like I could think of him as a Singh, and then associate that as a Sikh as Singh are mostly sick.

Maybe the other pilots blew away to Afghanistan [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
