Welcome to Iran Air Show 2012

After the successful organizing of the*5th International Iran Kish Air Show, the Kish Development and investment company fully supported by Kish Free Zone Organization intends to hold the 6th edition of the said exhibition with the cooperation of Civil Aviation Organization of Islamic (CAO-IRI) from*11-14 Dec. *2012 in Kish Island.
A large number of domestic companies active in the aviation, aerospace, airlines and the other related industries and universities as well as foreign companies took part at the fourth Iran Kish Air Show and exhibited a vast range of products, systems and services in the aviation and air space fields. These events received a warm welcome from the trades and specialists.
We do hope that the Iran Kish Air Show 2012 will also provide a suitable venue for participants and visitors to meet with their potential counterparts to discus of their interests and explore business opportunities.

the air show is not started yet.however its interesting to have some guess.
as they claimed the first Iranian made Turbofan Engine,one semi heavy helicopter,one middleweight helicopter will be unveilled.
new Iranian made 6 seat light air craft will be unveiled too.also other Iranian made light air crafts will fly during the air show including fajr-22,fajr-3,dorna,parande abi,parande azad...
beside that i guess we will see the cutting deal of producing An-158 in HESA production line too.
and also the specifications of a high-tech helicopter which is under development by PANHA will be published during air show.need to add that this helicopter will be comparable with nowdays modern helicopters as well.
in addition i must say that this air show is for civil aviation and has nothing to do with military stuff.

Iran to Unveil Home-Made Choppers Next Week
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran plans to unveil several home-made semi-heavy and mid-size choppers in an international aviation exhibition in the next few days, a senior Iranian aviation industry official announced on Saturday.




Speaking to reporters here in Tehran today, Managing-Director of the Iranian Aviation Industries Organization (IAIO) Manouchehr Manteqi said that several achievements are due to be unveiled by state and private companies in the Sixth International Aviation Industry Exhibition due to be held on the Persian Gulf island of Kish on December 10-14.

"A number of choppers and commercial planes will be unveiled during the exhibition," Manteqi said, and explained, "Two models of semi-heavy and mid-size helicopters which can be used for military logistics and other purposes will go on display in the exhibition."

He said Iran is ready to export the choppers which will be unveiled in the exhibition.

Manteqi also added that his organization has also started designing another chopper which will be built by the next year.

Several countries from Asia, Africa, and Europe will take part in the international aviation exhibition in Kish.

Iran has recently made good progress in the air industry and has succeeded in gaining the technical know-how for producing choppers, stealth aircraft and drones.

How many nations participating?

in the previous air show(2010),countries like Germany,France,Netherland,Russia,Ukrain,China,India,Pakistan participated.Russia participated with showing her civil air planes like An-225,An-148 and Tu-204.mostly others countries participated in introducing their Spare parts products.
however new sanctions are put on us.and we should wait and see what will happen there.anyway Russian existance in that air show is approved.

From what I have heard, there aren't going to be any military planes from HESA. Just some light civilian ones from private companies. Although HESA (Or PANHA) are going to show their helicopters. But I am looking forward for the military turbofan they have been speaking of.
