4. sindh police has a budget of nearly 500 million USD (PKR 110 billion), where they have to control less than a quarter of Pakistan's territory (about 17.7%). where they dont have to use tanks, gunships or other high value high maintenance equipment. compare that to army's expenditure (with nearly 6 times more territory, and nearly 5 times more numbers, and vastly greater quantity and maintenance requirement of equipment), the sindh police's budget is more than enough, and nearly on par with what the army gets. the big question is that where is this money going? only Allah knows.

It has everything to do with what you posted. PPP is a poster boy and an extension of the establishment that only exists to bring pain and suffering to the populace by empowering feudal elites. PPP has milked Bhutto's death like a genius, and now Zardari runs money laundering operations for fauji and co to great effect.

For this to work, they have to ensure that corruption seeps into the roots of every man woman and child; ensuring everyone can be bought for whatever price Zardari deems fit. With access to the huge wealth of Sindh just because of Karachi, Zardari's long con in collusion with Fauji co runs unabated; there's thousands of trojans in every institution of Sindh, serving as a guarantee for them that aik nahi to doosra bik jae ga.

But not just any military, it's Pakistani military, probably worst of the worst in the world. It can't even do it's job properly, terrorism on going since almost 2-3 decades, India taken over part of Kashmir, corrupt looting and ruling the country since 3 decades, country sinking in to despair slowly, heading for bankruptcy.
