WARANGAL: An aircraft of the Hakimpet Air Force Academy in Hyderabad crashed at a village in Warangal district on Sunday but the two pilots ejected out safely.
The `Kiran' aircraft crashed at Padamatikesapur village due to a technical snag at around 1430 hrs, official sources said.
Sensing trouble, the two pilots -- Anand Kumar and Syed Malik -- jumped out of the aircraft with the help of parachutes before it crashed.
However, Malik sustained serious injuries, they said. The two were initially admitted to a hospital at Jangaon and were later air-lifted to a hospital in Hyderabad, they added.
