Most Muslims stayed on their ancestral lands. Who wouldn't?!!!

Of 400 million Indians, only 15 million actually migrated. Even so, the largest land migration in human history. And probably the bloodiest.

The facts are clear. Only the northwest of India really converted en masse over a thousand years.

Fir the rest, it was piecemeal. And land just cannot be divided that way when drawing the boundaries of a new nation state.
