Exactly. I asked the same thing last year while sitting in a Block 52 cockpit at Shahbaz. And i received the same reply from the OC. I was showed some measures which were used by US, but it was nowhere near like some would say...kill switch.

Thats me sitting in the cockpit asking alot of questions, as usual. Later, the F-16 and DB-110 simulators was much more fun.

Did you try pulling that Black/Yellow handle thingy between your legs. Heard its fun thing to do...

Posting this thread based on the above image which was specially shared by the operator.
For many years, we were led to believe that PAF can not use it's F-16s without American approval, well 27th Feb. 2019 saw that myth shattered, however, the naysayers weren't finished yet and kept insisting that the PAF's new Block-52 are constantly monitored by US Personal who will not allow these jets to be deployed operationally other than from their dedicated home base. Also even the PAF Airchief's ride for 23rd March is thoroughly monitored before being allowed to operate from elsewhere. Well, i guess people in PAF do also come across these ludicrous claims. The above image should put an end to these misconceptions. As can be seen it's a fully armed PAF F-16 Block-52 operating out of Kamra.
The Vipers are monitored, especially the Block 52+ aircraft but not in the same desired manner as the myth that's out there.

If a Pilot can land F7 PG and decades old old mirages on those motorways then landing and F16 should be a childs play. When war comes knocking then everything is a fair game.
F-16 is very easy to fly, tough to master for what it has been made for and what it can be employed as.

I doubt anyone here, or at least ones who participate here openly, has ever seen the agreement on F-16 beyond State Department's announcement. But what I am sure of is that the agreement does not restrict Pakistan from using the F-16 in any manner or form, be it against India. It is, however, likely that Pakistan's right to modify F-16 is restricted. In fact, I am sure this is the case. Modifications may only be possible under US supervision or under the US approved third-party partners like Turkey. The US provisions and regulations would, however, still apply to third-party partners. Under such provisions, I don't think we can integrate Ra'ad on F-16, especially with the US observers hovering over our heads. The observers are only there to ensure that the technology does not fall into wrong hands (i.e. China) and that no tampering with the technology takes place.

I don’t think we were taking about monitoring, while there is a possibility of engine data and other technical parameters might automatically be sent to manufacture or other 3rd party or can be download every maintenance cycle but we were busting this mind set, my buddy In Airforce assured me after personally checking the F-16 that there is no hiden Red Kill Switch.

If USA bugged Iraq's printers (among other things), while it was allied to it against Iran, it is perfectly possible for the US to have bugged the PAF F-16s. Many subsystems and components are sealed, and cannot be opened in the F-16. And there are millions upon millions of lines of code.

Malaysians found that their F-18s didn't function as effectively, and had a host of troubles against Singaporean combat aircraft. I wonder how that happened and how professionals can ignore all of this info.
