Why would I troll. The talk for the Hindi version is pathetic. Telugu version released (in 2009 I think) is a big hit. Mainly based on comedy. Are you Telugu?

Indians are getting over excited over nothing..silly people lol People watch these crap because they have plenty of time and have nothing to watch. Even if public watch these movies once then movie become super hit ..thanks to such huge population..obviously most of our population cannot watch Hollywood/tollywood/malyalam/bengali/telgue because of language which masses dont understand so thats where bolly get its place as no competion in there as loyllywood is almost non existance since 80/90 and few good movie come once in a blue moon

I think bollywood is more popular in Pakistan than India. Regional Indian movies are much better.

i would say underdeveoped sense of movie as art form... I have not watched any big budget / big name movie for a very long time. Initial fascination with hollywood also died after seeing that many of them are formula movies.

I watched glimpse of few tamil movie and they look same to me but recipe of bollywood movies is simple ..one police mostly corrupt except when hero is policeman, one superman hero, one don of ghunda, one judge, one heroine who do nothing beside dance and romantic dialogue.. few dances/mujra and 5/6 songs and here desi movie is ready. I dont know why people dont get bore watching same stuff again and again lol

Increase of cinemas, many more multi plexes are under construction. This will also help our industry, because atm cinemas are only being build because of gurantee of bollywood movies.

So I go back to watching old movies but every once in a while you come across a good small budget movie channel movie. but hollywood has disappointed me for last 10 years to say the least.

Actually its mutual. The film makers make what the audience want. The audience watch what the film makers make. Movie makers often try to experiment, but then realize its better to make a general movie with little action, romance, comedy than to experiment with different subject Same goes in Hollywood.
