No, they are not.. all 3 have monopoly on the market.. In those many years Honda or Toyota doesn't introduce any car which could challenge Mehran.. In returns Suzuki doesn't introduce any Sedan.. so they were capturing market through settings..

Suzuki's marketing strategy has been so flawed

Their marketing is not flawed.. they know they can sell crap to us.. so they are still selling us that crap..

.then they launched celerio with the name of cultus after removing automatic transmission starting from 14 lacs...the fully loaded variant has a difference of few thousands from swift ..

They introduce because they already sense that their will be a shift in gov policy regarding new enterants in auto industry, so they knew that new companies are coming...

Hopefully KIA will bring competition to the Japanese car makers.
It will make the Japanese think twice, because now there are alternatives on the table.

I know these 3 leech companies.. all of them will up their game as to tackle new companies like (Kia, Hyundai, Renault) but still won't work as sincerely as they are working in others countries..

Ofcourse not, I was just quoting the fact that they've recently launched in India and our plant would suffice to cater India's demand for now and I guess they would start producing cars for export market as Kia promised to invest another billion dollars more in the coming years.

My question was where would they import from, I was thinking of China as they have manufacturing facilities only in SK & China and the third one being India which is under construction when it comes to Asia

In the start they will acquire CBU's, i don't know from where and then their will be a plant for assembling the vehicles... they are collaborating with Lucky Cement...

I owned a Kia once, worst car I have ever driven. I would rather drive a Suzuki Celerio and that is saying something about Suzuki. But great news for Pakistan I suppose, 12,00,000 PKR = 7,870 GBP. Not a bad price for an entry level hatchback!

Lucky Cement will invest by way of equity in the proposed associated company to manufacture, assemble, distribute and export all types of Kia vehicles, parts and accessories.

Right...any production line under 35-40 thousand units per year won't give them the economy of scale, could be more with added variants.

If the market can absorb these vehicles at the prices they will be offered at, the consumers will benefit.
