I believe they will launch the base model 1.6 litre FWD version of Sportage for obvious reasons. It costs around 79,000 AED in UAE. Apply the exchange rate of 1AED = 43 PKR and 33% accumulated Sales Tax, customs duty, and income tax etc. , the price should be something north of 45,00,000 PKR

That is why when the policy was announced it sounded like a amnesty scheme even back then! Yes the benefits are there, job, revenue, $$ investment, decrease in imports and all but a transparent check and balance should be incorporated to ensure this is not used as a front to launder money.

It is not just about money laundering. These massive corporations owe their start to government corruption and hence they all should be confiscated citing abuse of system.

bro forget halal. I have lived here now for 6 years. no one cares about halal. they care about getting the money period. money is usually earned through illicit means. if you are a working man then no way can you make a go of life.
