Most wanted and two of his group member terrorists killed by security forces in KP

The security forces in an intelligence based operation, have killed the most wanted terrorist commander Zafar alias Zafari and two of his group members in Dara Adam Khel on Sunday.
According to the security sources, the slain terrorist commander belonged to the TTP and was involved in 26 grenade attacks in Pakistan.

Two soldiers martyred in North Waziristan IED explosion

Two soldiers were martyred in general area of Spinwam, Tribal District North Waziristan today.
According to the ISPR, an improvised explosive device exploded resultantly, Sepoy Gul Rauf (age 29 years, resident of District Lakki Marwat) and Sepoy Abid Ullah (age 23 years, resident of District Karak) embraced shahadat.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
Armed Forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.

Four terrorists killed in Bajaur, Khyber IBOs: ISPR

Security Forces have killed three terrorists in an Intelligence Based Operation in Inayat Qilla, Bajaur District.
According to the ISPR, terrorist commander Shafi was also killed in the operation.
During the conduct of operation, intense fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as killing of innocent citizens.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area.
Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
Meanwhile, Security Forces have killed one terrorist and three injured in an Intelligence Based Operation in Tirah, Khyber District.
According to the ISPR, during the conduct of operation weapon and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorist.
Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

3 terrorists killed in intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan: ISPR​

Three terrorists have been killed in an intelligence-based operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district, state broadcaster Radio Pakistan quoted the military’s media affairs wing as saying on Sunday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the terrorists.

It said the slain terrorists remained actively involved in various terrorist activities against security forces, police, and innocent civilians.

They were also “highly wanted for conducting a raid on a police check post in Kulachi on April 11, 2022, which resulted in the martyrdom of five brave police constables”, the statement said.

The ISPR added sanitisation of the area was being carried out to eliminate any terrorists found in the area, adding that the security forces of Pakistan “are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism”.

The Dera Ismail Khan operation comes amid a surge in terrorist activities across the country, especially in KP and Balochistan, since the outlawed militant group Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan ended its ceasefire with the government in November.

Earlier today, three police officials and a Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel were martyred after police and Levies checkposts in the Dhana Sar area of Balochistan’s Sherani subdistrict came under attack.

Officials said the exchange of fire between the security forces and the terrorists continued for almost two hours in which a terrorist was also gunned down.

In North Waziristan, a suicide attack targeted security forces near the Shaheed Hamidullah check post in Miran Shah.

The bomb disposal team came under attack, resulting in the martyrdom of one security Personal and injuries to three others. Additionally, 10 civilians were wounded as a consequence of the attack.

The injured individuals were promptly transported to Miran Shah and Mir Ali hospitals for medical treatment.

Resultantly, Naib Subedar Sahib Khan (age 41 years, resident of Mianwali), Naik Muhammad Ibrahim (age 40 years, resident of Dera Ismail Khan) and Sepoy Jehangir Khan (age 24 years, resident of Mardan) embraced shahadat, while, three innocent civilians got critically injured.

Security forces kill six terrorists in Tank, North Waziristan

Six terrorists have been killed during successful operations by security forces in Tank and North Waziristan districts.
According to ISPR, three of the terrorists were killed in Manzai area of Tank district on the night of June 29 and 30 during in an exchange of fire with army troops. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.
Three more terrorists were killed in another fierce encounter with troops at Razmak area of North Waziristan district.
The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terror activities against security forces as well as the killing of innocent citizens.

Late at night, at the Mir Ali Faqiran Chou check post in North Waziristan, three police personnel were injured due to gunfire from unidentified individuals.

The condition of two police personnel is critical, and they have been airlifted to Bannu Hospital via helicopter for urgent medical treatment.
