I am amazed at your rant. The reason there are such problems inside PTI is all because IK is not bowing to that mafia. How easy it was for IK to just get back in touch with JKT (which I think he should have) and start rebuilding but he didn't because he realises he cannot bow to the Mafia. Very few wealthy people oppose the system. Even business class and upper middle class prefer this system. They know they can benefit from it.

I will give you a few examples;

- pay bribe to traffic officer instead of paying fine for traffic violation
- pay a bribe to meter reader rather than pay full electricity bill
- pay a bribe to school teachers to get kids better grades
- pay a bribe to govt official to get kids govt jobs

This is the sort of advantage upper middle class can take from govt officials. Even middle class who have money coming in from abroad can get these advantages. This is why they support the corrupt, because they have managed to successfully operate in this environment. Their wealth - limited as it may be gives them an advantage over the common working class or lower middle class. So these people support this.

I'll give you another example, our traders launched protests when the govt announced it wanted to collectID for large transactions. They did this because that would then expose how much they were really earning and how little tax they were paying. There is a strong streak of corrupt folk in our society. These traitor politicians are born from within us.

Within my own family, i know idiot relatives who did not get the vaccine (which was free) but paid a bribe to get a certificate. I have an uncle who once boasted that he has a friend at Islamabad airport who he contacts whenever he returns from a visit to the UK. He gives this guy a little bit of money and is waved through the airport checks, taken to the front of the queues etc.Why? He isn't smuggling anything, he just wants to feel like a bigshot. Idiots like this are common in our society.

Typically when 2 Pakistani are about to start a fight, their first dialouge is "you dont know who i am"
