So raping and murdering Kashmiri women and children for 60 years is not considered terrorism? Time for morally bankrupt nations to stfu.
i'm a kashmiri and i agree with this statement to an extent, but internationally who's willing to listen to pakistan, you need to look at the whole picture, pakistan army raped and killed more muslims in east pakistan then the indian army has done in kashmir in 60 years this is a well know fact. I hate what indias doing in kashmir but don't forget youve made bigger mistakes.

We are discussing Kashmir, nothing else is relevant.

it is relevant, why live in a state of denial, when muslims kill muslims and commit worse barbarism its seen as Ok, when hindus do it to a smaller extent we need to thump our chests and set the house on fire. Please leave this idealistic mentality to one side stop painting the world as black and white

You dimwit, try telling that to a generation of children growing up knowing their mothers and grandmothers have been raped by Indian soldiers.

I know which side is just. India will never get to keep Kashmir. Justice will be served.

this is your god damn problem you have no sense, the indian army and security forces are rapists and murders i agree but pakistan armys track record is probrably worse, are bengalis kuffar when they themselves accuse the pak army of killing 100s of thousands of there kin? a generation of them were whiped out too don't forget that.
If pakistan cares so deeply about kashmir why doesn't it comply with UN resolution 48 demilitrtize its side of kashmir then india will be forced to dimilitarized IOK that way they won't be any more rape and killing of kashmiris

If you look closely it was India which said Pakistan needs to do more on terrorism while Kerry said that Pakistan needs to do more but added that Pakistan has been doing that in the recent times implying that he was only indicating that Pakistan needs to continue the good work that it has already been doing.

So a very balanced statement from US.

Oh my god! Such a ghairat mand man from such a pure ghairat mand land! Only manufacturing moral terrorists since 1947! Time for Pakistan to stop butting in Indian affairs 'morally' and be a ghairat mand land and actually adhere to the agreements it signed.
totally agree pakistan should be ghairatmand and take a lesson from mohd bin qasim who came to sind against terrorist and call from a single muslim girl against the attrocities , pakistan should wake up to the terrorist modi and its goons

Can't take the harsh reality huh? Everybody has their own terrorist and freedom fighters. India, Iran, UK, Pakistan, US, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Israel openly tends to Syrian terrorists wounds. Don't pin this all on Pakistan as if we are the only ones involved in this. There such a thing called hypocrisy which is obviously not available in your vocabulary. Pakistan should have never been involved in this war that was NEVER ours. Why should we create more enemies? It's time we started thinking of our national interest and not the other countries. All we know is that terrorist attacks have DRASTICALLY reduced in the nation. That's all that matters to us. Take a good hard look at yourselves in the mirror before making such comments on other nations.

This is going to be hard to answer, since you have so many facts at your fingertips. Now, if those facts had all related to the question, it might have been impossible to answer. Fortunately, it appears that some of us are like Gerald Ford, in LBJ's coarse and earthy description of him: that he wasn't able to chew gum and fart at the same time.

First, India has had nothing to do with Syria. Nothing. Go read up on it (even easier, ask the neighbourhood Mamu who apparently keeps you up to date with world events every day).

Second, Pakistan is being asked to get rid of its own peculiar brand of militancy, that it paid for and nurtured, for which it built training camps, handed over guns, ammunition and the munitions of war, and then shelled Indian positions to distract the border guards and allow them easy passage. You are the only ones involved in this.

Third, hypocrisy applies in this situation, but in the opposite direction. Pretending to know nothing about a situation created by yourselves is called what else, pray? Rock-ribbed integrity, perhaps?

Fourth, this is not about the Taliban. It seems strange that you don't even know which set of terrorists faces in which direction.
  • The Taliban face the Afghans and give them hell. Kerry DID NOT ask you to fix that problem, as he and others have been asking for some years now, not this time.
  • No, he was not talking about the Haqqani Network either, or about Gulbaddin Hekmatyar.
  • Not about Jundallah; that's Iran's headache, and Kerry might have liked to talk about it, but the US isn't fixing Iran's headaches just at the moment.
  • Not about the TTP; that is your own internal toxic mess.
  • Not even about the Sipaha-e-Sahiba; that vicious group is entirely a Pakistan sectarian concoction.
Kerry was talking about Jaish-e-Mohammed, Lashkar-e-Taiba and Hizb-ul-Mujaheddin. These have nothing to do with Pakistani involvement with Afghanistan.

Fifth, by suppressing these terrorist groups, you will create no more enemies; you will reduce the violent elements who destabilise your own society by openly preaching the utility and beneficial effects of terror, rather than of discussion and debate, and who have proliferated the gun culture through every province, not just in a few isolated pockets. If this is not in your own NATIONAL INTEREST, what is? Merely suppressing the overt rebellion against government authority in KPK is not enough; there are other provinces where the writ of the government doesn't run. You should worry.

Sixth, Kerry was not asking about terrorist activity within Pakistan; he was referring to terrorist activity in Kashmir, which has increased. Your leaders have been asked to stop sponsoring, training and infiltrating them. That may well be all that matters to you, but it obviously isn't all that matters to Kerry and the US. Or to other countries in this world. That is the message that is being given to you.

Seventh, just took a good, hard look in the mirror, acting on your recommendation. Gosh, good-looking devil. Liked what I saw. I think you had best confine yourself to looking good and hard in my mirror for a change, you've obviously been giving yourself some nasty shocks in the morning looking in your own mirror. Give it up, it's bad for your BP. And, oh, nearly forgot; work on your posts. Right now, they suck. Big time.

Kerry calls for more efforts to purge Pakistan of militancy

Published: August 30, 2016

NEW DELHI: US Secretary of State John Kerry urged Pakistan on Tuesday to do more to stop extremist groups using its territory, saying on a visit to India there could be no distinction between “good and bad terrorists”.

Kerry said it was important that Islamabad moved to “deprive any group of sanctuary”, highlighting the threat posed by Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Kashmiri separatist group which is allegedly behind a string of anti-Indian attacks.

“We will not and we cannot make distinctions between good and bad terrorists… Terrorism is terrorism,” Kerry said at a press conference alongside India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

Kashmir unrest sparks Pak-India diplomatic spat

Kerry said the US government had “had conversations with all members of the region frankly about efforts they need to take against terrorism which comes out of their country”, adding that he had personally raised the issue with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Around 70 civilians have been killed since the beginning of last month in the aftermath of the Indian army’s killing of a charismatic young separatist leader and a curfew remains in place in many parts of held Kashmir.

Swaraj said there was “a meeting of minds” during her talks with Kerry on tackling the threats posed by extremists as she reiterated long-standing accusations that Pakistan was sponsoring “cross-border terrorism”.

“I briefed Secretary Kerry about the continuing problem of cross-border terrorism that India and the larger region faces from Pakistan,” she said.

Both sides said that there had been an agreement to step up cooperation on intelligence.

“We agree on additional measures to strengthen our counterterrorism,” said Swaraj. “We will intensify intelligence sharing.”
Well if they allow us to extend Zarb e Azb to pentagon, maybe then we can help more

Why don't you start adhering to documents you sign before poking your nose into others' affairs? We really do not care what Pakistan has to say on any topic related to anything except terrorism emanating from Pakistani citizens.
look whos talking that has head of state modi a terrorist,

I'm sure half of them dont even know what "Kashmir" is.

Much much more than that. If you did a statistical check, I think that the people aware of Kashmir equal the newspaper and TV audiences put together. Nothing more. That is the brutal reality.
