In India it is - most of the Islamic country flags in South Asia are green. There is definitely a reference of green to Islam in India.

My country's flag has a combination of green and crimson. The green color does not necessarily reflect Bangladesh being Muslim or an Islamic country

If Kozhikode can have monrail then why cant Trivandrum have it? May be Trivandrum needs it more than Kochi or Kozhikode. The amount which was allotted for the widening of the Ulloor-Kazhakuttom stretch as a prelude to the Monorail work was diverted for Kozhikode Monorail preilminary fund which became a hue and cry raised by the local people's representatives. So what we should do? Simply sit and watch those IUML & Cong jokers doing all these things right under our nose? We dont want UDF anymore...
