Taliban also attack your military installations, and those who do, can be called militants, insurgents, rebels etc. If one wishes to call them freedom fighter, its their choice. same applies here.

However there should be no confusion that because they also attack military installations, their systematic targetting of civilians can be ignored. Hence they remain terrorists.
