Keen to develop good ties with India but no compromise on sovereignty: Army Chief

. .
I remeber the last time you crossed the border, your Mig-21 and Mig-27 were shotdown.

And there after our Mirage bombed your camp and eliminated your 300 soldiers without any resistance.

And your PM went to US and waited there for 2 days without the appointment of Bill clinton to beg a ceasefire after India eliminated your northern light infantry and humiliated badly.

Ohh.... Please dont give me this bollywood style BS.... I dont think i have to remind you, your rotten bodies lying everywhere awaiting to be lifted..... Dont tell me about politicians, talk of soldiers. The ratio was 3:1 but your military command increased it to 15:1, but still you were unable to regain captured areas, Tiger Hill is still in our control dear.

In which madrasa did you listen this from Mullah.?

Untill you find a political solution to terrorism, the military solution shall remain temporary in nature.
You play politics from a position of power and authority. Specially in your own backyard you need to have control before you go on a charm offensive.
For terrorism there is no political solution. For there never was a problem to do with Pakistan in the first place. We did not destabilize the region. We had no choice but to help the resistance otherwise Pakistani sovereignty was possibly in danger. All we now need to do is pummel them hard and then offer terms which cannot be refused.
I know it sounds drastic and uncivil but the other options have been tried to no avail.
All foreign actors also need to be exposed and assets neutralised before there can be a ground for the economic changes which will form the basis of real reforms.

Those are empty words that are coming from both NS and RS. Until Hafeez Saeed and Lakvi are hanged, I will not believe that Pakistan matches its words with actions.

As on Kashmir, it is an integral part of India and non negotiable. US or anyone cannot make India change its stance.
This is precisely the stance that will eventually lead to unres5 in the region. The choice is simply yours.Either accept there is a problem and give and take to resolve it and move forward. Or be busy with the ostrich approach and refuse to accept that there is a problem which requires 600 000 of your forces to be stationed there and face the music later. This will however lead to confrontation and this will not be good for the region or even the world.

I guess I will take the approach of not talking with Pakistan until Mumbai terrorists are hanged. You cannot blackmail us with you threats and I don't think Pakistan has enough to confront India.

Feel free to sit in your own cess pool and fester. This policy of nonengagement will eventually cause a lot of lives and loss of growth to the region as valuable resources are redirected towards defence when we can easily spend it on social uplift projects. Whether you like it or not India will have to step out of its holier than thou approach and come down to Pakistan and negotiate.

India has been living with non engagement with Pakistan since I guess from last 70 years, but that doesn't stopped India from emerging as an economic power. There is no doubt that India's huge military budget and conflict with Pakistan has some effect on its economic growth, but the effect is much more on Pakistan. And time is running out of Pakistan or it will suffer from being in perpetual state of underdevelopment due to its conflict with a country that has 9 times more resource than Pakistan. So India will never approach Pakistan for talks instead it will be more fruitful for India to alley the concerns of those Kashmiris that have grievances.

Good luck with that and while you are at it allay the grievances of the Naxalites and the communists and the sikhs and god knows who else and then you just might succeed. Pakistan is not going anywhere. It may not be doing so good at this time but things will change inspite of ohr wishful thinkers who incite trouble here and there directly or through proxies in the hope of keeping us reeling that way. But Ito jee its not working and Pakistan slowly but steadily is becoming stronger. So just keep wishing us well it gives us great hope of making enough of a recovery to make the world sit up and notice. As to negotiations you will come rou fd to the idea eventually.

Why would we negotiate what is there for Pakistan to offer. You are not going to accept LoC as IB and India is not going to give up its part of Kashmir. There is no point in discussion, talks have been going on for years, you blame BJP for not talking but the fact remain that in the past 10 yrs of Congress rule nothing has changed, the ground realities are still the same and will always remain this way. The nuke option has made it almost guaranteed that neither international pressure or force would ever be able change the border.

India has moved forward while Pakistan still beats on the same drum where ever it goes. Economy is the main focus point for Indians now, relation with Pakistan will always be what they have been since independence and we have come to accept it. Even our PM has given up on the useless talks that go no place, he is more interested in bringing foreign investment rather than continuing the useless game of bickering back and forth, and India topping the FDI chart is proof of that.

Pakistan is in this mess today because you decided to join together with others and fight someone else's war. You prioritized others over yourself and they took advantage of you and left you with their problems.
