I doubt he would have any knowledge of what happens in Jammu and Kashmir.

Why not invite people from Jammu and Kashmir to get the perspective from there, or better come and visit yourself. It would make sense to invite elected repreresentatives of the people from say PDP, NC, INC or other political parties rather than a Pakistani based outfit when talking about this issue.

The blunt truth is there is NO even keel between India & Pakistan and there will not be one.The disparity wll only grow with time. Sooner it is realized the better.

Also regarding the artillery, I have made it pretty clear how it is detrimental to Indian interests and how 30 km in reality is not what it seems in the forum. So please give that strawman a rest. Pakistan is no position to demand trust from India. Especially given the history when such trust is placed upon it.

Indians have a lot to worry about these days than Pakistan. You guys are losing the numero uno in the list of problems in Indian psyche.

Ofcourse the increase in defence budget is for China..Do you think PAKFA,Agni V, Arihant SSBN, Aircraft carrier are needed for striking Pakistan...90s tech 300 km Prithvi missile would do fine for Pakistan as most of your main cities are within 300 km from Indian border.

None of these formations can be placed anywhere except where they are.

As regards Pak / China focused defence forces the truth is one is am immediate threat while the other is a potential threat.

Defence forces are & should be focused to cater for all threats. Thats what India does.

@Razpak...still 80% is not true..Our forces are slowly getting shifted to the Eastern theatre..Till recently most of the equipment was on the western border because thats where we fought 4 wars and one running insurgeny.Naturally so since independence Western border would have dominated our consciousness.

but if you look at the ongoing military modernization drive almost all of it is geared towards the Chinese threat -- from modernizing forward air bases, re-activating old ALGs and establishing new ones, border infrastructure everything will be along the Chinese border. Even the new regiments that are being raised -- Arunachal Scouts, Sikkim scouts, the new mountain divisions and strike corps..all are on the eastern front.

Slowly but surely the balance is tilting.

That argument might have been convincing had your last response not been what it was, as were the official responses to Pakistani proposals on the LoC.

What you say might be true, but India and Indians have not gotten to the point where Pakistan is not 'numero uno'.

'Talk is cheap' as they say, it is Indian actions that will determine whether what you claim is true or not, and when it comes to India's actions and policies, they belie your claims.
