Wake me up when there's something happening.

...oh wait, am I gonna sleep for, like, forever?

-------------------------

These Kashmiri seperatists should learn something from Anna Hazare and his thousands of followers of how to conduct peaceful protests.

You go to jail smiling and do not throw anything at the police. Contrast this with the 'peaceful' stone-pelters.

There's a difference and this difference is deep rooted in the very psyche of the common people in both the cases.

...but then this is what happens when you have a Gilani who gets his medical treatment done at the expense of the GoI as a leader and not an Anna Hazare who refuses to obtain bail.

There's a difference between these opportunist seperatists most of whose family members are settled abroad and an Anna Hazare who did not get married so that he could devote his life to the country.

This is what happens when you do not have the right leaders to look up to.

The difference lay between THIS:

lol like indian crcket team demon ?? lol hahaha.
Knock knock
To become part of Pakistan.......a land should be muslim majority plus Ruler should agree plus should be connected to Palistan physically.

And India is a crazy demon .......... So we have democracy

.
And secondly Kashmir has never been part of India since the deal was places with most muslims will go to Pakistan and rest to India. Kashmir was 90% muslims but India send there troops in Kashmir to take what they claimed is there.

Lool! Please tell me you're joking? Even today Muslims are just 65% of J&K. 30% Hindus and 5% Sikhs and Buddhists. I don't know where you got your numbers from?

Plus these are the numbers after ethnic cleansing of Hindu Pundits and permanent demographic changes. And India didn't send troops it was Pakistani mobs who started occupying Kashmir so Maharaja ceded J&K to Indian union. And why do you think idea of separation was alien to the people of Kashmir till 1990s till Pakistan started insurgency in the region? Come on mate! You should know all this.

Even in Balochistan some don't celebrate 14th August as their independence day they celebrate 11th August instead

in the past, there definitely were people (a tiny minority) who used to declare it black day and/or refuse to sing the Qaumi Tirana....However today in 2011 the numbers are so small and negligible that they need not even be mentioned.

in fact if you followed the coverage, Baluchistan this year saw one of the most enthusiastic displays of celebration for 14 Aug. There was much fervour and fanfare. Seperatist insurgency in Balochistan is pretty much dead at this point.

it is not a disputed territory, so no need to bring up Balochistan Province of Pakistan.

People are just frustrated that they are living between so many army personnel they just want their old normal life back. Like it used to be before Pakistani supported infiltrators came to valley in 1990s. These are common people I'm talking about. They're not anti-India.

the insurgency (a nationalist intifada) rose during that period was mostly due to the fact that mass graves, rapes and torture were being documented --all these were actions of the occupation forces against the Kashmiris. Human rights defenders and even some of the police themselves established hundreds of cases prima facie against army and paramilitary forces' personnel, but not a single prosecution has been possible since 1990 - for want of the 'mandatory sanction' from New Delhi which applied (imposed) draconian AFSPA over them.

this is the main reason for the insurgency. You give Pakistan more credit than it deserves.

The reported 8,000 to 10,000 enforced disappearances in IOK are just one part of a series of human rights violations attributed to the Indian government, including extra-judicial killings, torture and illegal detentions

Human rights abuse and the denial of justice by way of these laws are seen as tools for curbing dissent and therefore suppressing the popular sentiment for freedom in Kashmir

Only some groups like Hurrayat coference and Jihad council do.

there's also the Awami Action Committee which i guess is the sister group of the highly influential APHC and you conveniently forgot about the JKLF :)
