I wonder why you claim you are a 3rd generation Muslim. It means your grandfather was a Hindu. so, what was his name? I have not personally heard of or seen such a Muslim in BD. Turkic/Afghan Muslims arrived and settled in Bengal in the early 13th Century. But, the historians are almost of this opinion that the major conversion took place only after early 17th Century when the Delhi Mughals finally annexed Bengal during the time of Badshah Jahangir.
