He was one of the best Kashmiri reporters, was also editor of Rising Kashmir newspaper.
A very prominent and balanced reporter who always kept interest of Kashmir supreme. Was neither pro-Pakistan or pro-Indian, fair and balance. His killing on the eve of UN report at a secure location where 2 police stations are located, should be investigated by foreign bodies. Don't trust Indian Occupation Army.

Every one knows that he was killed due to the fact he was involved in the peace process. Abdul ghani lone, mirwaiz's father...etc all who tried to bring peace to the valley met the same fate. The simple fact is that pakistan will lose leverage if there is peace in the valley and they want to keep the situation boiling on the ground. So any one who dares to bring peace gets killed.

Only way they can bring up the kashmir issue is by creating more violence & death. Did not pakistan conduct kargil operation for the same reason?
