Kashmir remark sparks trade war between India and Malaysia: palm oil businesses suffer

.
As we speak, India already withdrawn 5% tariff benifit to Malaysia...We have already figured it out...So even of we will continue business with Malaysia, we will get 5% more tax in the name of Kashmir from Malaysia ..

Well the collateral in this spat will be Indian Malaysians themselves, Vast majority of them are employed in the Palm oil industry as plantation workers, Just like in other Commonwealth's like Sri Lanka, Fiji, Guyana and Trinidad etc. Where the Brits shipped tens and thousands from Southern India as indentured labour

Malaysian Indians make up a disproportionately large percentage of professionals per capita - constituting 15.5% of Malaysia's professionals in 1999.[6] As of a census taken in 1984, up to 38% of the nation's medical professional workforce consists of Malaysian Indians.[6] In 1970, the per capita income of Malaysian Indians was 76% higher than that of the Malay majority.[7] Despite somewhat fruitful attempts by the Malaysian government to redistribute wealth since the 1970s, Malaysian Indians still earn a 27% higher per capita income than that of the dominant Malay community as seen in data released in 2005.[7]

Yeah you forgot to copy and paste this part.. Or did you ? :coffee:

A substantial number of Malaysian Indians however remain among the poorest in the country.[8][9

The establishment of the plantations and the need for cheap labour led to an influx of Indian migrants working under the indenture Kangani system in the 19th and early 20th century. Some, after the Kangani system ended in the early 20th century, also paid for their own passage to Malaya. These migrant workers were primarily Tamils (around 80%), with some Telugus, Malayalis as well as other groups from northern India. The Tamils were primarily non-Brahmin middle-ranking or low caste Hindus, including Gounder, Kallar, Muthuraja, Devendrakula Velalar, Vanniyar and Paraiyar, the Telugus include Kamma and Reddy, while the Malayali were mostly from the Nayar caste.[16]

Like i mentioned vast majority of plantation workers are Malaysian Indians

Also..

The Malayali, Ceylonese and Christian Tamils may be involved in government and private work-collar work.. That's the minority

.

Please look through demographics of Malaysia. And you would see on average Indian Malaysians are better off than average malays. I know what I know. I am a bit lazy to search and post links for you.

They form a significant part of the professional classes in Malaysia; in a census taken in 1999, Malaysian Indians were 15.5% of Malaysia's professional workforce.[6] These include doctors (28.4%), lawyers (26.8%), dentists (21%), veterinary surgeons (28.5%), engineers (6.4%), accountants (5.8%), surveyors (3.0%) and architects (1.5%).[21]

As you can see, Indians are not all plantation workers. Above is the reason, they wouldn't want to throw them out.

Their support was overflowing when they gave their highest civilian award to Modi. They just throw bread crumbs to make you happy.

Having lived and worked in Malaysia i can safely say i have more knowledge on the ground than a Wikipedia search.. On average Indian Malaysians do a little bit better than the Bumiputhra's is because indians are like only 7% of the population, While the Malays are the majority by far so on average thier numbers in poverty are higher yet not as abject as Indians

And the well to do Indians are actually the minority in the community vast Majority of Indians are the poorest segment of the Malaysian demographic, Still living in abject poverty in plantations for generations

Chinese Malaysians are actually the richest and most well to do segment in the country not Indians

You need to realize unlike the Indian diaspora post independence to the West where most who migrated are upper and middle upper classes, Indian communities taken by the Brits as willing indentured labor for most part still languish in abject poverty even after centuries in their adopted countries.. Not just in Malaya but throughout the commonwealth, Only a few have been able to come through.. I guess these people do not tend to get highlighted in Indian media, Hence your ignorance

What peaceful Hindu government ruled India my dear? Congress is a secular party or so we are told, lol.

The Indian RSS lot has collectively gone completely bonkers since Feb 27th dear, don't take their narrative to heart to post like them or you might end up continuously posting the same way they do. Can you prove you are not a RSS sanghi dear???

Oh and do ask your "Indian Colleagues" when Pulwama attack by a young Kashmiri freedom fighter happened that killed nearly a hundred Indian soldiers???

So you are one of those who do not believe in providing logical arguments but resort to abuse, allegation and painting other as enemy/opponent since have limited knowledge of facts and figures....

Now "Dear", before asking me to prove anything...can you prove that you are not that Madrassa class product who has a biased mindset, a brain-washed fanatic who blindly believes what is being "Told" as you said in your post, rather than referring various source of truth (neutral news not propaganda)?
And you are free to "assume" whatever about me.....I am not here to prove something to someone who already is living in a denial.

@waz @Dubious why is this RSS Sanghi supporter posing as a Pakistani or trying to speak on our behalf as though we had failed to prove anything?

What is the point of this post? Lame @rse Indian misdirection, lol...

What a bunch of pathetic losers, lol...

My previous reply to your last post sums it up.

Thank you for admitting Indian are not peaceful and "ruling" them illegally (as per international law)

I am saying about current Indian ruling party...they are fundamentalist and non-peace loving...Not "Indians".

Please don't take things out of context.

Some are still living in the colonial era, Malaysian Tamils no longer work in palm oil plantations, they have been replaced by cheap foreign migrant workers from Bangladesh, Indonesia. Myanmar etc.

Nestlé criticised over migrant palm oil workers in Malaysia

There most of the difficult and dangerous work on plantations is carried out by Indonesian migrant workers, of whom around 840,000 are undocumented, a new study by Solidar Switzerlandexternal link published on Tuesday revealed.

https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/responsible-business_nestlé-criticised-over-migrant-palm-oil-workers-in-malaysia/45234426

Many of the undocumented migrants end up in Malaysia, which exports nearly $12 billion of palm oil a year, around 40% of the world’s supply, and has a growing need for unskilled workers. The Arakan Project, a nonprofit that studies migration through the Bay of Bengal, estimates nearly 50,000 people have boarded boats for the perilous journey to Malaysia in the past two years, many dying on the way.

“There is a huge demand for labor in sectors such as plantations and construction” in Malaysia, said Alfred Vengadasalam, a Malaysian lawyer who specializes in labor issues. “These are also the sectors where abuses are most common.”

What propaganda? What deniel?

Congress government ? Pulwama attack?

You need me to post sources of my claim??? What rock do you live under dear, lol???

Ha ha ha, having comprehension issues? Go ahead read my reply again.

I factually exposed your mediocre intellect as well as your lame and failed misdirection about not being an Indian yourself.

I did answer your lame argument about any past peaceful Hindu government dear...Congress party is secular.

I did answer your lame argument about no attacks by freedom fighters during Modi government dear... Pulwama attack alone killed nearly Hundred Indian soldiers.

Yet there is not a single factual or logical statement in your reply but you insist that I should post sources and links to well known facts under some obnoxious sense of self imposed bewilderment which is hallmark of an average - RSS Rabid - cry baby.

So answer; are you not an Indian living in New Zealand to be in so much pain and looking for excuses for Modi my dear???

Not all Indians in Malaysia are plantation workers but almost ALL the voilent gangs in Malaysia are run by Indian gangs.

More than 70 per cent of felons are ethnic Indians, who make up just 7 per cent of Malaysia’s population. Though small in number, they have been linked to a wide array of crimes - such as armed robberies, drug and prostitution rings, loan-sharking, gambling and extortion rackets, and even contract killings.

Donkey doesn't know the difference between immigrants and invaders.

And read this if you can with your donkey brains -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysian_Indians#Demographics

Malaysian Indians or Indian Malaysians (Tamil: மலேசிய இந்தியர்கள்), consist of people of Indian descent—particularly Tamil Indians from Tamil Nadu—who were born in or immigrated to Malaysia. Most are descendants of those who migrated from India during the British colonisation of Malaya.

Some Indians could be recent immigrants too of course but the vast majority are not.

Donkies may understand something, though late but brain washed idiots have no limits of ignorance. They celebrate all their idiocy.
