Kashmir Black Day to be observed in Sri Lanka ::ailyFT - Be Empowered

The Kashmir Study Forum and Pakistani community in Sri Lanka with support of Sri Lankan friends will be organising a peaceful assembly today (27) at 11 a.m. opposite the United Nations Office at Baudaloka Mawatha to mark Kashmir Black Day.

A memorandum urging the UN to play its role to resolve the oldest unresolved dispute on the UN agenda since 1947 will also be handed over to the UN office.

Similar peaceful assemblies will also be held in other parts of the island including Ampara, Batticaloa and Puttalam.

Kashmiris and Pakistanis all over the world observe Black Day on 27 October to condemn landing of Indian occupying forces in Jammu and Kashmir in 1947.

Sri lanka should not allow Pakistanis and Kashmiris to observe black day because only one day back India offers Sri Lanka Devine 5th Plus Generation Fighter possible deliveries would be after 2030 Sri Lankan Govt should be thankful to Indians.

Well it's called the freedom of expression a vital component of a democracy.. The same reason given in India when political jokers jump jigs against Sri Lanka almost daily

Btw according to the sources it's not just Pakistanis and Kashmiris involved in this but many locals sympathetic to the cause also will be held in other parts of the island where it's hard to assume that many Pakistanis do not reside

Some elements observing Black day inside Indian territory itself doesn't mean anything and doesn't make any impacts.
What, this incident happening in a totally irrelevant country like Sri Lanka is going to create a large international attention ?
