I learned to speak Tamil in less than 6~7 months. How about that ??

Iam from tamilnadu. tamilnadu is against learning hindi. I learn to talk hindi in three months, it happened when i was in commissioning a system in north india. because our contactors knows only hindi no other go.

Beggars and street urchins in Mumbai are able to speak English picking it up from tourists....and trust me English aint no easy language....(perfect example is this forum).....Are people here suggesting that the beggars are British nationals?....a conspiracy of the earstwhile Raj to flood India with slumdwellers so they could mint money from the movie Slumdog millionaire?

It is not myth ..I mean to say Marathi is common in India as Marathi is the 4th most spoken language in India and the 15th most spoken language in the world.
It does not mean all Indian Know it .. as I know Panjabi, sindi, Siraiki, but not Pushto.

Marathi language is not easy to learn in few months , i have many marathi speaking friends but could not learn in 9 years.

It depends on the circumstances mate.... U must have heard this kahawat , "mushkil mein gadhe ko bhi **** banana padta hai"
Kasab has to save his arse... He`ll even speak hebrew if that could save his life...
the ground reality is stil the same .... 185 innocent Indians killed in mumbai, nariman house(and people wonder why india and israel relations are getting better ) , Taj hotel etc.

I remember the movie called `A WEDNESDAY` , who besides me remembers it????
