let me introduce with History 101...
1947----Pakistan invaded Kashmir..India counterattacked after Kashmir was annexed with India..if Nehru had a proper brain,we'd take entire kashmir within 3 months..
1965--battles started in Kashmir.we ended it at outskirts of Lahore..India gained more lands than Pakistan.
1971--Divison of Pakistan in two half.in western sector,India gained little lands.90000 Pakistani pow.
1999--Pakistan intruded into vacant posts and attacked Indian Army.India counterattacked and captured all of its posts.in International community,Pakistan got cornered and isolated.India lost some 500+ soldiers while Pakistan lost some 4000+ soldiers(Pakistan never clarified how many soldiers they lost.the figure is according to your prime minister Nawaz Shariff)
The Hindu : Over 4,000 soldiers killed in Kargil: Sharif
some win I must say.. now,get back to the topic...
These myths have been rebutted so many times on this forum.
1947- India was going no where, the same with Pakistan, and certainly not into Azad Kashmir after the lines had been stabilised. My forefathers fought in that war. Yes you held the Valley.
1965- No international organisation was allowed to mark out the territorial claims of both states. Neutral assessment was refused. Pakistan held lands in Indian Kashmir and East Punjab. India held land in Azad Kashmir and slightly in the side of the Pakistani border. India probably did hold more land, but not what is stated. The Tashkent deceleration stated Indian and Pakistani forces would pull back to their pre-conflict positions, pre-August lines, no later than February 25, 1966.
1971- Yes that did happen. As of those 90,000, less than half were combat troops.
1999- This is just incredible. The names of every solider who died from the Pakistani forces have been listed and their funerals conducted. Nawaz, the imbecile has NEVER uttered or supported this claim he made years ago.
Our sources state that 453 Pakistani soldiers died.
Here is a comprehensive list, from an Indian source. It is 473.
It is true that Pakistan has broadly not been able to meet objectives in various conflicts.

As for the topic, I think mushy is just nuts for saying this. But hey. I respect the solider.
