Operation se pehlay tu doodh ki nehrey beh rahi thyn karachi me? I being a karachiite appreciate the efforts of law and enforcement agencies for bringing peace in karachi, topic plantation hy aur tu politics kar rha hy. A Chinese proverb,

If you are planning for a year, sow rice; if you are planning for a decade, plant trees; if you are planning for a lifetime, educate people.

So IK has done the planning for both of the time scales i.e. the decade and the century since KPK govt really focused on education, health, law and order, streamlining the land records office (patwar), eliminating the corruption from the governmental offices in addition to planting the trees, promoting the tourism in the province, eliminating polio, installing small hydroelectric power stations..and then infrastructure projects motorways, BRT-Peshawar etc while IK also inaugurated the cancer hospital in Peshawar along with de-throning the cult leader from not only the PM office but ejected him from the politics and people's hearts...I would say a lot of achievements within 5 years and that too while in opposition.

Nice to meet you buddy... I like the people who are open with their affiliations and do not hide it like we have some shameless trolls on this forum.

How does it relate to my post which was not about Karachi or Mohajirs? Rather about a politician who did it for his province. That's a role model and should be replicated elsewhere.
I love Karachi and love Mohajir though I hate the word, better word is "Urdu Speaking" people.
MQM has done more damage to Karachi than anyone else and agencies have played their role in it by supporting and letting it do whatever it wanted when they needed it. But the time has come to rectify the mistakes..A dead MQM is the best MQM.

This is a wonderful initiative #KarachiNeedsTrees given the amount of people killed during heatwave.

Good awareness needs to be given,

Pakistan Peoples Party or the Sindh Government will never do any initiative to benefit Karachi and create hurdles in the federal funding as well. This is something people or civil societythemselves need to do. Karachi Nazim Naimatullah Khan planted hug no. of trees and developed model parks in his tenure 2002-2005. Mustafa kamal and MQM also developed Bin QasimPark and maintained some planting thruout the city. Post-2008, PPP has destroyed everything including greenery and plantation.

if trees are looked for planting, water-guzzling trees like eucalyptus should be refrained from. They soak up the water table dry. Trees which can withstand certain amount of extreme heat should be prioritised. Don't expect PTI or other political parties to do this.

Bhai yeh ownership tu yahan ki politics hy, subko ko inam chahiye, kaam ka koi nhi, aur agar aaj karachi dewar se laga hoa hy tu uske kasur waar hum khud hy, es sheher me ethnic-sectarian basis pr politics krne wli parties ko sir pr charhne wly hum hi hyn, hamara pehlaya hua mess hi army ne saaf kiya hy, if we really want our share in national politics tu humey riwayti politics se bahir ana hga, agar sheher me garmi hy pani nhi hy tu es se her zuban kehne wla, her mazhab ka banda suffer kr rha hy, why don't we realise k aab humey being a karachi'ite ban kr sochna hga, aur 90s ki politics ko bye bye krna hoga, we are economic hub, aur rahi baat punjab ki nawaz ki tu yeh wahan k logun ko soochna hy k behter kiya hy, humare liye hamara karachi hi kafi hy.
