I am not qualified enough to comment on political correctness (did not go to jadavpur or JNU) but i will make a simple observation.... JNU/left etc the Saviors of democracy cannot make the statements and posters they put up in there in any part of Shiv Sena bastion...

No they cant. But again Shiv Sena are not wasting public money in their propaganda's. They speak 'against' Muslims, but I do not remember someone insulting Islam like the guys in JNU doing to Hindu religion. Again I am not going to Mahishashur , native hero part. We have temples for Raavanan, Duryoshana, Kumbhakarna and even Indrajit is celebrated in countries such as Thailand. But calling a God, an whore? And now those students who never had voice in student politics who were getting silently hurt have found an ally in ABVP. I cannot blame them.

Exactly. If governemt recognises a person by his caste, then people will too. Moreover this reservation is what mostly creates hatred today. Reservation should by based on economic conditions, otherwise its intelligence failure as a country if a family member with crores is getting reservation just because of his caste. It doesn't make sence then, and is discrimination against other castes.

If want caste thing to go, reservations must go. Only economic condition based reservations.

Look, I sympathise with you loosing a friend.
It is absolutely horrible when ever a young life is lost. The sadness a mother feels when she looses her son is indescribable. Loosing a sibling feels like loosing a part of your body.

I understand all that.

But remember, it was not BJP or RSS or ABVP which escalated Rohith's death in a tamasha.

When politicians started using Rohith's death to settle their political scores, it is obvious that there will be political retaliation.

At a personal level, I can't help but feel absolutely bad for his family. This guy Rohith had so much potential and it is now lost. Remember though, it was not 'us' who started this journey down the rabbit hole.

Read again, if government recognises a person based on his caste, then caste system will remain forever. A person is getting reservations based on his economic conditions is absolute justice.

Only in India, losers, dumbs, family reference, reservations prevails, while in other countries only smart, intelligent people survive while losers die out after living in povery because they can't save money for offsprings. But we in our country let dumbs get jobs while deserving ones suffer. And its hurting nation real bad. You should see the progress of nation above your caste. Non deserving dumbs don't deserve posts. In the long run it hurts India as a country, an intelligence failure.

Provide economic assitance to every poor, not reservations. I don't have any problem if every government employ or policy maker is a Dalit if he get there based on his intelligence and not reservations. Thats true defeat of casteism in India.
