you just committed blasphemy... masjid cannot be built over a temple or using temple materials...
those who do it will be kufr. before you deny this.. this was one of the explanation given during babri controversy on why the mosque was not built over a temple.

see for babri , a hundred+ temples were destroyed in pak. so how many more should be destroyed before it is said that our revenge has been taken?

Restor it. There was some collaboration between India-Pakistan on restoration of Katas mandir in Chakwal but there was NO follow up. There was a news few years back that India will provide funds for the project but it never took place.

I believe these should be restored

we have hindus in Pakistan and it is Pakistan's duty to severe them like other citizens.

we don't need Indian money for this

Pakistan should try to repair and restore buildings like this on its own

also many muslim heritage buildings,darbars,qilals,libraries are in bad condition like Qila Rutas(Rohtas Fort) etc

we have hindus in Pakistan and it is Pakistan's duty to severe them like other citizens.

This is our responsibility indeed but in a country where Muslim heritage is in shambles you cant expect for better for non Muslim arts.

I will be happy if there is some step by Indian organisations to restore Hindu temples and hindu historical sites in my City Peshawar.

We have plenty of these that too thousands of years old

Those who equate the maintenance of this Temple in Pakistan with anything to do with Babri Masjid are being silly. Most did not even know this temple existed or was in this state of disrepair till this or similar posts must have been read. In any case the two are not connected.

But what can we do to our DNA ? Our default response is (a) Get on the defensive . (b) Deflect the fault elsewhere. (c) Draw a parellel with the opposite side which in our mind condones the wrong we did.and when all else fails hit below the belt and draw the discussion to a low where the respectable would withdraw.

We have a lot of more important things to do instead of maintaining a pathetic mandir.

It is part of our heritage and should be preserved, but sadly we have bigger issues on the plate.

Hopefully two different ways of saying the same thing; the first of which is just pathetic.

Interestingly this temple too is constructed on the 5 mountain design with 4 smaller mountains on the corners and a central higher one in the middle.

We Desis have better lineage than the west. Our civlisations are older, our ancestors were wiser .

Education was perfected in our part of the world when those in the west were still chasing buffaloes.

We should therefore be better than them.

If only we can overcome our stupidities due to which we gladly spend our hard earned money to buy weapons from the west who laugh their way to the bank.

Such petty animosity as we see on this thread helps the west to cement our differences and ensure jobs & income for themselves.
