In various sites I have seen people making absurd claims that Kalash are descended from Greeks left behind following Alexander's conquests.
I have used a couple of ancient source populations to model some present day South/South-Central Asian groups, including the Kalash, and here's the result:
They are not too different from Pashtuns, with 2.2% additional northern European ancestry but also 4% more desi.
