Yes, both Kachin and Karen armies are supported by U.S., most because of Christian relief.
U.S. needs an anti-China Myanmar to work for it, so it bids on both sides, the minority armies and Aung San Suu Kyi, who is supposed to be next president of Myanmar, but now fights for being qualified as a legal president candidate.

If I remember correctly, the US and Europe support the Kachin army ,Is USand EU now turn to the Government of Myanmar?
