Kabul Rejects Pakistan Accusations Over Shrine Attack

why what makes you say that, when we hold the largest amount of Afghan refugees in the world.
LOL ..Read the history from the day they oppose PAKISTAN inclusion in UN as country..Several times they attack our borders in 1960 and 1970..Even there president offer once India to attack pakistan from both side and divide it..No they don't think like this..They consider they are on there own land until attock..

Afghan Govt cannot even control Kabul..it has a history of rejection..even when truth is laid naked bare..to bad Pakistan is not a party to ISAF...so its security threats cannot be tackled in Afghanistan..and taking this cover Afghan government can deny all they want!
Afghan Taliban are going to break the gates of Kabul and conquer Kabul.

Aerial strikes means converting masses against you which we cant afford to have.
Afghans are divided in Pakhtoon/Tajik/Uzbik/Farsi etc and then there are Northern Alliance/Taliban & NUG and one strike by Pakistan will unite them and our longterm interests might get affected .May be thats the reason our forces are still silent.
We need to use proxies against proxies.

and nothing that united mass can do what they are not doing already....
strikes now... consequences later

Maybe then they were anti-Pakistan.
Now I have met many Pakistanis who are Pro-Pakistan.

ehhh shias are a minority.......not to mention are the ones being targeted and killed consistently...by SUNNI terrorists.

i mean...dint they just blow up a "shia" shrine ?? when was the last time a sunni mosque was targeted in pakistan ?

you can declare yer "undying" love for the shias.....but the ground realities says otherwise...

why do you think saudi arabia funded and built all the religious infrastructure to promote sunni wahabism in a country where sufism was the indigenous formation ???

well...you can live in yer lala land mate..but thats not going to help solve the sunni-shia war :p

i read somewhere that in the quran it says there will be multiple sects of islam during judgement day.....but only one is the true one ???

so which is it ???

SHIas or SUnnis ?
They were killed by people from afghanistan. an outsider force.

We have a holy mentality towards Afghans because two of their invaders are our famous hero..with such holiness its difficult to build offensive mentality among the security establishment..they can do a lot against us..we cant...we would always think of them as the land of great Abdali and Ghaznavi..Ohh they conquered the soomnaat!

Rather than strikes, use money to buy Afghan politicians'servies, and use them for lobbying in Afghan parliment for an action against TTP. Why to waste power & money when there is a cost-effective method. :)

you are here like many of your countrymen who other than being a narcissist are just here poking their nose. what will Pakistan do is NOT military strike even further none of your business. Military strike is 100% counterproductive and it will open the gateway for you indians to increase your excrement in afghanistan. this needs a fine tooth comb and surgical scalpel approach.

secondly sitting in america doesn't make you superior and for the record the drone strike were allowed by permission unless you were sleep then i suggest you look up the congressional hearings on the issue which clearly outlined it more than a decade ago.

whether you like it or not mate...india and pakistan neighbors...

so if shit goes down in yer house...in time it will affect me too. From a geopolitical standpoint it will be STUPID to ignore the next door neighbors events and activities...

try living next door to a drug dealer ....wont be fun i suppose.

and yes...sitting in america gives you a better perspective...cause pakistanis and indians here....are pretty neutral when it comes to talking points..gives you the bigger image....unlike you.

and its rather funny to see you say with nonchalance that drone strikes were approved by your government...does this mean your military does not have the capacity to perform such options.....if so...in what confidence do you see pakistan successfully carrying out any operation other than mortar strikes ?:p

its ironic to see you talk about " superiority" cause thats exactly the attitude pakistan has with afganistan....had with the bengalis ....and thats exactly why things will go bad in the long run.

The Afghan government has called Pakistani authorities out on their bluff. When you dont act and your statements are backed by not action but mere words and stupid songs, this is how others will treat you. Question is what are you going to do about it Gen Bajwa now that the Afghans have dismissed your claims and along with that the list of the people you asked to hand them over or take action.
I have a feeling that had the General not called the US general and lets things remain in ambiguity over how Pakistan will respond (not that we would had considering who is running Pakistan) the Afghans probably wouldnt be so hasten in rejecting. But since you already put your cards on the table, they called you out on the bluff knowing Pakistani history of not doing anything no matter how many Pakistanis get killed, why would they change their response.

Agreed that shias are the minority.

Epic Fail LoL. ;)
Unlike Russia or America or others, Pakistan doesn't need to invade Afghanistan.
We just hit them and return.

^^^
Yes you're right and you're doing this for 40 years and spilling afghans blood like a water but so far you're failed to make Afghanistan you're 5th state. You feed this snakes to gain the strategic depth now they're biting you back. You and me we lives in UK enjoying every moment of our life but how about those innocents killed in yesterday's attack. Wallah over 75000 innocents got killed in Pakistan in past few years and thousand n thousand in Afghanistan with the hands of so called Strategic assets. I know you're response but Wallah the so called assets are Fitna, Sha'r eliminate this monster ASAP.

Kabul Rejects Pakistan Accusations Over Shrine Attack
Presidential spokesman denies Afghanistan is a safe-haven for terrorists, adding that Pakistan should rather deal with threats on home soil

The presidential palace on Friday rejected Pakistan’s accusations that the recent suicide attack on the Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in Pakistan was masterminded from Afghanistan soil.

The Palace said in a statement Afghanistan has proven its honesty in fighting terrorism and now it is Pakistan’s turn to destroy terrorist safe havens on its own soil.

"Afghanistan has never allowed anyone to use its soil for terrorist activities against regional countries or its neighbors. We also expect other countries not to let insurgent groups harbor safe havens on their soil," said Shah Hussain Murtazawi, deputy spokesman of president.

In reaction to the recent shrine attack Pakistan closed the Torkham and Spin Boldak border ports and said the attack was masterminded in Afghanistan by supporters of foreigner elements. Pakistan did not name the foreign elements.

The Pakistani military also summoned the Afghan ambassador in Islamabad and submitted the names of 76 terrorists in Afghanistan and asked the Afghan government to target those elements.

In reaction to Pakistan’s allegations Murtazawi said Pakistan should, instead of making accusations, eliminate the safe havens of insurgents on its own soil.

Meanwhile, Amrullah Saleh, the former head of the National Directorate of Security said attacks such as that on the shrine, was a result of supporting terrorists by Pakistan. He added that that Pakistan has itself turned into a safe haven for terrorists.

"We are not the behind the attack and we do not need to explain anything. Pakistan people know that all the problems are rooted in one point and the point is using terrorists and extremist groups in the region. In the past 40 years, these groups have been trained in Pakistan," Saleh said.

Although Daesh claimed responsibility for the attack, Sartaj Aziz, foreign affairs advisor to the Pakistan’s prime minister, alleged in a phone discussion with Mohammad Hanif Atmar, the National Security Advisor that the attack is carried out by Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, a branch of Taliban.

Pakistan foreign ministry has reported that Aziz told Atmar that Kabul did not acted on Pakistan’s repeated requests on eliminating anti-Pakistan terrorists.

CM Shabaz Sharif admitted in his press conference that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani wants full cooperation , but his lower ranks totally refused to obey his order and CM said " we experience this many time " . He was blaming Afghan intel chief who totally refused to take order from Ashraf Ghani. So, in Afghan presidential palace there are two powers.
