Justice for Zainab: Riots erupt in Kasur after 8-year-old's alleged rape, murder

This society will go down to the grounds, mark my words; this the society where there is a different justice for rich and poor. The culprits of cases like this are roaming free; this incident got reported; every day lots of other cases happen; which don't get media highlight; what happen to those cases? As much i am in pain since the news; as much i am loosing hope for this country and people. Koi garat mand qoum hoti to ab tak in haramio ko chowkon main taang data. Two, three more days it will be on media; "culprits" will be caught, after a week people will forget, until the next incident. No reforms will happen, people will be again discussing imran ki shadi, mujha kyin nikala, bhutto kyun zinda hai. We as a nation are dead from inside.

Many Punjabi village areas are dirty places where men openly have sex with animals and brag about it.
Punjabi moral values have been thrown in the gutter by too much watching foreign films.

We lack so many things. Moral decency tops the list. This is all due to our morally bankrupt leaders. We elect them and even defend them. I have highly educated relatives in Pakistan who constantly defend crooks and vote for them. They gain nothing out of it, but are blind to see the truth. Now this is the state of educated folks. One can only wonder how the less educated folks vote and behave.

@war&peace
Just out of sheer knowledge and curiosity but aside shuffling blame and responsibility - how else is the CM involved? It’s actually disgusting to see people being injured for a cause which naturally is infuriating.

Two protestors have been killed by the direct firing of the police as it was done in model town Lahore and report says CM was directly responsible for that since police can't do firing without his orders.

Furthermore, it is not the first time, have you read the news report in entirety? It says that 12 girls have been raped and 11 of them died in Kasur within the jurisdiction of the same police station. Similarly MPA of PMLn from Kasur has been involved in pedophilia and nothing was done against him. SS is protecting them so he is responsible without any doubt.

Just finished watching 11th hour program and iqrar ul hassan was saying the authorities are refusing to carry out post mortem on the protesters that were killed, this is pure state terrorism by Godfather mafia.

These are the same people who fired at unarmed women protesters, shot them in their head and faces. Remember the Model Town massacre.

Remember the Sialkot incident? So much outrage and anger. We don't hear anyone about it anymore.

CM of the province is responsible and if the culprit is not caught within 24 hours. He must be beheaded publicly. Police has again resorted to state terrorism and killed the protestors. It could have been you or me if we were there...after all we are protesting here.

Punjab police is a terrorist outfit paid by the provincial govt. This seems another attempt by them to protect the real criminal and implicate some political rival of SS.

People of Pakistan should stand up and throw this system into the sewer.

As much as i agree with you and in deep pain; i would still call spade a spade. Forget government, army or police. It's PEOPLE who are responsible. It's you and me who are responsible; it all of us here on PDF and in Pakistan. We Pakistanis are responsible for what's happening to our country.

These are the national assembly seats from kasur and the elected memebers

Punjab NA-138 (Kasur-I) Pakistan Muslim League (N) Salman Haneef 1 June 2013
Punjab NA-139 (Kasur-II) Pakistan Muslim League (N) Waseem Akhtar Shaikh 1 June 2013
Punjab NA-140 (Kasur-III) Pakistan Muslim League (N) Malik Rasheed Ahmed Khan 1 June 2013
Punjab NA-141 (Kasur-IV) Pakistan Muslim League (N) Rana Muhammad Ishaq 1 June 2013
Punjab NA-142 (Kasur-V) Pakistan Muslim League (N) Rana Muhammad Hayat 1 June 2013

Now you and all of the members here tell me who is responsible? these law makers, these government representatives who were supposed to make strict laws, make institutions and implement it or we the people who elect these crooks there.

You are absolutely right, this shameless government has not learnt its lesson, nor its willing to change for the better, as usual like other incidents they will try to brush it under the carpet, But I have got a feeling the public is extremely angry, its got to the point they will want justice for the protesters killed and the poor little flower that has been brutally murdered, and until there is no justice, people are willing to take the law into their own hands.

The CM is responsible for destroying the police. The police does not 'protect and serve' the public.

If this little girl’s murderer isn’t hung publicly, her family doesn’t get justice and they’re going through proceedings of long court cases - then the Government has failed them! This is disgusting

I am sorry, just came back from work and reading about this. Don't we have any users from Kasur here? Maybe they could get together with their friends and help the police out or something like we have with amber alerts etc? I know it's quite late for the Shahzadi Zainab (rh) but maybe other little princesses could be saved?

I don't have any relatives in Kasur or would have told them to do the same. It is likely the culprit is local from that area, obviously, maybe lying low for now. Just thinking it is better to do something concrete instead of just posting empty condemnations.

We are dead. We are exploited by outside powers. This is how we behave within our borders. Something just gotta change.

Pakistan is seeing the same people led protest India saw after the brutal delhi's rape case, leading to death sentence for all the accused except an minor but a hell lot need to be done both at the society and law and administration level before we can say something has changed.

There is no justice in Pakistan and that is why people have to take the law into their own hands. This, ladies and gentlemen is how militant and terrorist groups come into fruition.
